Problem with 22 is the second hit whiffs on crouch block, and jump ins dont jail. They can jab punish or d1 special punish and in this game that means 40% lol.

His strings leave something to be desired, IMO. Thats why bats are so vital. Luckily their cooldown is insanely fast.

I noticed his B11 (2) can be blown up on crouch block.
 
blowing up gaps in between strings is something the mk community is used to at a high level it will be an advantage over the capcom players I think. Im glad they kept a similar hitbox system to mk

223 is super easy to blow up. 11 you can mixup between finishing with 3 or bounce canceling which gives u an armoed popup that leaves u at advantage. UsedForGlue I noticed depending on the spacing the second 1 in b11 can be ducked but on jump ins I think u can get a free b11. Instead of doing b11 mb batarang u can do just b1 mb batarang for the same adv follow ups

I've been experimenting with the armor f3/b3 cancels and the threat of those would probably allow you to pressure a bit more. The one thing I find that will discourage this however is the fact that you gain no meter on chip and your damage is greatly reduced.

I'm also having inconsistencies chaining the ff/bb mb cancels. Sometimes they come out and sometimes they don't but afaik I'm doing the same inputs. Any tips here?

I've been experimenting with the armor f3/b3 cancels and the threat of those would probably allow you to pressure a bit more. The one thing I find that will discourage this however is the fact that you gain no meter on chip and your damage is greatly reduced.

the final game you gain meter on chip i think, i remember asking pako in the stream chat and he confirmed it.

I struggled at first too but then I realized that you need 2 meters to do it haha. Just make sure you got the 2 meters. These frames traps are meant to condition your opponent in blocking all the followups so later on once everyone is conditioned you can cancel punishable strings into the bounce canels and instead of doing followups after the f3/b3 after a MB batarang you can grab or if you have your bat traits out you can release the bats as you jump in and it pushes them back. If you play around with it you can push them far enough back to land in front of them and get in a nice crossup mixup.

I like cancelling f23 with the b3/f3's because you are at adv and the f2 is a fantastic string to use after ending a combo with b23, bats, dash, since it hits and bats can prevent any counter attack during your rush
