I never said he was talking shit, lol. It's an interesting topic of discussion, and because I disagree with it, I'm going to state why.

Go blow up those people who are being dicks then. :p
No you didn't but "If you post your opinion then you're going to take shit for it" doesn't help. I'm not going to blow up everybody, that's crazy, I reply to you because the guy was right at saying: "I don't get why you're getting upset about this like I personally insulted you. I"m just saying my opinion", and, again, it is just an opinion, without "shit talking".

To critisize the demo is just foolish. Everybody has to wait till the game comes out. Even making combos is kind of pointless right now and it just gives us more things to unlearn when the full version is out. I like what NRS did with IGAU. It's fresh and seems to have a lot of potential. We as the MKC must only think about leveling up when the full version is out. There are many mechanics that are not native to MK9 and if you guys see the Chris G stream you will see how fast and pretty thorough the game is broken down by specialist in other fighting games with similarities with IGAU. They look at the game from a different perspective and we need to learn to look at the game from their point of view too. In doing so we will have a better grasp of this game in the future (faster way to find the cheap stuff).

The demo has made me hella emo towards lex and how he is supposed to be played. Otherwise I'm still pretty hyped and am excited to adapt to the new style of footsies.

omg I cant... I can't at people saying they are dissapointed of the GAME after a day in the DEMO.
Really people? you don't know how different Demos are from actual games? and yes it plays completely differently but I just can already see myself playing this shit when i get used to it!! OMG - ICAME
OVERHYPED after the Demo actually - now i can't wait to try the other characters and other stages (they had to give me my least favorite arena for the Demo lol) and other moves and skins and omg!! xD HYPEHYPEHYPE

You can't do poke strings, you can't dash cancel, a lot of moves in this build put you at disadvantage even when they hit clean and cross up. Walk speed is shit(which could be over looked if you could fucking DASH CANCEL). I just...man I've already got my pre-order paid off , so I'm getting it. I won't be surprised if I turn it back in a few days later if its anything like this demo.

I don't particularly care for the game after playing the demo but I will at least wait until the retail version releases before making a decision. As some others have mentioned, I didn't like the MK9 demo either...

I just find it incredibly fucking strange that almost every fighting game thats on a 2D plain moves so smoothly except for the ones NRS develops. I know they are trying to be different, but making stiff as animations that leave you feeling helpless because you can't react the way you need to is just poor design. IMO

Well you guys have your reasons, my reason is im not in to fighting game community only fg i played was mk9 and i got used to block button. Now i cant use block with back. I always forget and cannot time it right.
Pros:
Great fighting dynamics , will feature charming story mode and star labs missions, multiple arenas with interactibles
Cons:
Unnecessary hype killer wager mode, push block and enhancing specials also (for me) back to block system.

Also, NRS started planning DLC's before months ago from release isnt this kind of theft? We are paying for content which they already created months ago. I know, there are far worse companies but this sounds so wrong to me.

Damn this dude is being put on super soaker levels of blast. Although I see where all these guys are coming from they really wasnt any reason to thrash the guy like this. However c_brandon I would also recommend to just wait for the full version of the game. It is only meant to give you the tiniest little taste of what the game has to offer man. I understand your suspicion, but I think you should wait it out and give the full game a try. Trust me, there is a bunch of stuff going on in this demo that won't be happening come the 16th.

Ok let's not exagerate things it was only a month before the game release not MONTHS.
And again - all you have to do is get used to it - and however good and pro u think u are - 1 day is not enough :) jeez - what did u expect? beating very hard from the first time or something?

c_brandon - Don't worry about them. Remember, this is the internet, where if someone disagrees with your opinion, it means you're wrong and they're right.

To answer your question... Nope, the demo didn't turn me off, although I don't really want to play the demo that much tbh. I'll only be using one character so I don't want to bother learning combos for the three demo characters.
Glad to see you are picking up Injustice. You haven't used your Bop clan account for like 3 months, are you using another account?

My opinion on the demo is posative. Being a demo i wasnt expecting a final build or multiplayer. But being able to play some matches against a friend of mine who struggles with other fighters (SF4 Marvel) Its great for us to pickup a new fighter at the same time and explore it. Its only made me more excited for the game :). I dont fully understand the mechanics yet i cant seem to get the clash system to work when i want it to yet. But all in all enjoying it.

no it was months. they said so back at like evo 2012.

NRS if you are reading this, dont listen to the OP, he has no idea what he is talking about.

Uhh, Why? maybe they need to read this and next time, not put out a half assed Demo (when according to a lot of people on this site, will be nothing like the final release). That is presentation 101... don't present something that doesn't represent what you're trying to do. I'm glad this Demo came out because it saved me $60

You need to approach fighting game demos differently. If you plan on taking it seriously then use the demo to get used to how its played. At any point the variables can change with dashes, walk speed, and more even after release. The best thing you can do is simply rent it when it comes out to try out the game.

On a casual level you wont have fun playing against bots all day. Most casual players will buy it for the story and beat it then play with friends for fun. if you don't have people to play offline then rent it like I said and play it online.

Just curious what did you expect from the demo?

well i dunno when they said something like that, but it doesn't matter - we have 24 characters that are pretty diverse and are involved in a story and play an important roles
The DLC is more like Fan service if i understood correctly - so it is mostly going to be characters fans realllly wanted that weren't originally in the game. So again as it has been said many times - if u don't want DLC don't buy it, it's as simple as that. I don't even understand why does it matter for u when they start working on DLC - each character takes 6 weeks apparantly to create so even if they started they couldn't release those with the game ^_^

Seriously guys?

Leave the kid alone. I like the demo but can also understand if he was turned off by it... Injustice isn't going to be what everyone wants it to be cause it can only be ONE GAME.

He's not out of line for being dissapointed, for not seeing it as "fun", and for not liking the changes in mechanics NRS made... You guys making smart ass remarks at him for voicing his opinion respectfully, all look like jackasses...

Sorry you don't like the demo man, maybe rent the game and if you change your mind on it you can go out and buy it. =)
