I know, it sucks they have to use this popularity shit when it comes to promoting the game. Like you have Batman in the demo, just having him is enough for people to try it out lol. Like, did they really have to put all 3 very popular characters in, like they couldn't have thrown in 1 obscure character? Lol, I guess not. BTW, sorry for acting like a douche in these past posts, I just personally don't see a difference but there very well may be. Any aggression that may have been interpreted wasn't intended, and like we both said- the final game could easily have an update or more options for the contrast :)
There most definitely is a difference at least in graphical fidelity, not in frame rate etc. the game simply looks nicer on 360 that's all. It won't effect your gameplay. I have bad vision now (getting old sucks lol) and I find the less sharp less vibrant ps3 version harder to concentrate on while playing. I've decided I'm going with the 360 version for this game which I've never done before. I'll pick up a fightpad or something if I feel the need too. Perhaps maybe even a stick, I do have a lot of overtime hours on my next pay lol (thanks Easter holidays) so we'll see.

your settings need adjusting or you dont release that 360 just over saturates color for lack of detail.

Look at every ps3 exclusive verse xbox, youll see exactly what im talking about
Nope you obviously didnt read the thread go back and read my previous posts and you'll see I've tried all of this before. 360 looks better, has nothing to do with contrast issues etc. Ps3 exclusives look better but multiplatform games almost always look better on 360 especially games using unreal such as mk9 and injustice. This game is no different.

I feel you dude, my vision is just pitiful anyway(Im not that old lol), I have to practically touch my TV screen to see it. I really wish Doomsday was playable too...He could have filled the 4th character spot.

I don't care if you buy it or not, I've literally been playing both versions of the game all day and messing around with settings on both and I'm telling you without a shadow of a doubt the 360 version looks noticeably better and it has nothing to do with contrast or brightness. The largest difference is the backgrounds on the 360 version are much higher Rez and much more vivid looking as are in-game lighting effects. Frame rate and input commands etc are exactly the same however. It's blazing fast on both ps3 and 360. Just 360 looks better.

I'm really not that old but my distance sight is not so great anymore, I'm 27. That's the main reason I can tell you for sure that the ps3 version isn't as vivid and clear as the 360 version because I struggle to see the ps3 version because its less vivid and more "muddy" but the 360 version is crystal clear to me.

Ya know now that you say it, the PS3 version is a bit dark. When I first downloaded the demo and played it for the first time, it was VERY sunny outside and there is a huge window in my front room(all of the sunlight goes right in your face lol), and I was having trouble seeing the game. But as I said, I will wait for the final product to see if the 360 has better lighting.

Also notice the difference in lighting between the bat signal light, or the light from the helicopter as you walk by it, the 360 version is more dynamic and looks better. Also notice the clarity difference between the far background like that library building behind the helicopter on the rooftop. More then that pick batman and notice the lighting difference on his armor. The 360 version is just better. It's not insane different but it is quite noticeable once you see it.

See now that you specified what youre talking about, i know youre telling the truth. When i hear the 360 version is better its usually bullcrap (i.e. MK9 gfx wise)

As I said the ps3 version does not look bad by any stretch, but it's just more muddy, not as vivid and the overall in game lighting just isn't as good. Like I said earlier in the thread I'd prefer to go ps3 because I've been using ps game pads since the ps1 for fighting games and its just a superior pad, but the game does look better on 360. As I stated I find it easier to pay attention to the game on 360 as my eyesight for distance isn't great and the clarity and vividness of the 360 version really help since this is a fairly fast game. I just hate the 360 pad for fighters, as,well....everyone does. So now I'm looking for good options for something else Iike a SFIV fightpad but I dunno I've heard Mixed things about it.

Welp, I've decided I'm gonna get the game for 360 and I'm gonna invest in getting an actual fightstick, I've wanted one for years so why the hell not?

What's the word on the madcatz SFIV fightpads? I've heard a lot of mixed things.

I've had one for about a month now and absolutely love it for MK. I used it today for the injustice demo and was nailing inputs easily and the game ran fine on it.

For $20 you can't go wrong. I'm actually going to order s second one as a backup just in case.

My only problem is that I play on a 55 inch LED and the cord isn't the longest and I have to adjust my seating according to if I am going to play a MK and use the pad or not.

I used to think ps3s were the superior system for fighters, maybe by association with Japan or something. Historically though, almost every fighting game with exception of tekken seems to run better on 360.

360 has been the tournament standard in the UK for a long time now. Yes the pads are crap but any serious player will either use a convertor or multi console stick anyway. The online is generally better too.

Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!
Way to ignite another plethora of rumor monging and dick swinging over completely aesthetic things all over again for a game that's not even out yet.

While yes, the build is apparently 7 months old and UE3 is notorious for issues on proprietary console architecture, does it not occur to you that 7 months ago NRS probably didn't give a fuck about how the PS3/Wii U ports look at the time and it's bad because it's, y'know.. old?

I play on PS3 at home, every tournament I've been to has ran the respective game in question on 360, and I don't give a fuck. And none of you gave a fuck when the original Xbox was getting shafted on fighters despite being a far more well rounded system than the PS2. Get over it.

I own both and I can corroborate that this is definitely true -- the difference in clarity is striking and very noticeable. But as this is an old build, we should probably reserve judgement until we're playing the final version.
