Is it really worth losing health or letting hem recover it though? Like I said, health>meter. Especially since meter builds really fast in this game.
if you got the lifelead and dont want them to break a future combo or if they NEED meter to survive the matchups vs either your moves or ex moves then its a good idea

or if a super is very threatening to you and doesnt allow to zone or rush thus causing you way more passive dmg from restricting you from doing shit

It depends on the situation, if you're losing and you're just using clash like an MK style desperation breaker, then yeah, go all in, but there's other applications. It may seem at first that all in is the best mentality, but circumstances will definitely arise when its better to have an opponent with no meter and more life than the opposite. No meter means no push block, no ex, no bounce combos, no nothing.

Its really no different from the decisions marvel players make regarding xfactor, or SF4 players make about using half strength or full strength ultras.

Can you turn clash off?
Why would you want too

only 1 per match
and they have drastically cut down the animation, i havent played the demo yet but im sure its even more cut down than that
Mind games, its all about the mind games

Remember, representing ermac is illmatic.
i have to agree with pig if this game is anything like mk, meter is more important than health. especially if you have the lead.
