Better late than never. I'm in Prairie City and i play Mk because it's the only fighter people in this small town are interested in. I also run small tournaments at a computer repair shop/wi-fi hot spot here in town roughly-ish once a month.

If anyone around wants to game get ahold of me.

Next tournament for MK here is set for June 29th at 7pm. i know saturdays are preferable for game tournaments but the guy running the shop has other things he's running that saturday. Address is 118 E. Jefferson Praririe City, IA 50228. Send me a message if you can come so i can get a head count and let Shane (the owner) know what to expect. Unfortunately there is a venue fee of $5, i can't get around that and $5 to play in the tourney. Standard 70/20/10 payout.

I'm moving up to Iowa City in June, and was wondering if there was still any kind of a scene there.

Wowzers, almost went a full year without a post, haha.

Depends on how you define "scene," I guess. I don't know of anyone in IC, but there are a couple of players in Cedar Rapids that might be willing to get some games in. I can get you in touch with them, if you'd like. I, honestly, haven't touched the game in months and months.

I'm really looking for people to play Injustice with. I'm always down for matches of any fighting game, but Injustice will be my primary focus when it comes out.

I primarily stick with 3Ds, meaning Tekken and SC, although Tekken moreso.

That being said, I will not be getting Injustice when it comes out, but the guys I'm thinking of will be, I believe. I'll double-check with them and see if they can dig their TYM accounts out of the rubble and post, lol. Otherwise, I'll get you in touch with them somehow. :)

Iowa MK isnt dead...it's just seemingly impossible to get something going because no one wants to take charge. About 6 months ago we had around 6-8 people gathering weekly in Cedar Rapids.

I'd love to continue playing, I just cant run the fucking thing anymore. Life is making it very hard.

I wouldnt mind setting things up like that. I just need to know people would be dedicated and willing to play
