It's her demon power! Why is BA battle damaged and Raven isn't?
I made great use of it when I could. Its pretty sweet.Black Adams backdash at 1:58 looks huge. That could be annoying to get in on.
Or he'll be like Astaroth and zone you with fear."Both these characters are zoners"
At this rate i wouldn't be surprised if Grundy ends up having a fullscreen grab or something
I didn't see it taking any meter so I think it's too damn OP.awesome video
Stage transitions do a LOT of damage. They cost meter right?
If there is I'll probably play with it off. It's her demon power!
...maybe there's the option to turn off battle damage.
"Y DO U RESIST!?"What does Black Adam say in the clash?
Followed by a flying dropkick to the face. Doesn't get more legit!"Y DO U RESIST!?"
Daterape Adam.
She is. Rewatch when she does her super, her cape is ripped to hell. Why is BA battle damaged and Raven isn't?
Indeed! Going to make for some interesting corner-plays.. Big risk-reward having someone in the corner if break + transition = +30%.I'm surprised no one's mentioned that Stage Transition damage is worth a third of a bar.
That's a heavy chunk of life there...
I dig it, though. It's like the IGAU equivalent of playing Marvel or Tekken and getting caught in a corner loop or a wall carry.Indeed! Going to make for some interesting corner-plays.. Big risk-reward having someone in the corner if break + transition = +30%.
I dunno, seemed reasonable to me. I'm largely unaffected by this because I foresee myself holding on to meter to get people the fuck off me and EX moves (depending on their usefulness for whatever character I play).I'm surprised no one's mentioned that Stage Transition damage is worth a third of a bar.

+1 for all of this. I'm so excited .I dunno, seemed reasonable to me. I'm largely unaffected by this because I foresee myself holding on to meter to get people the fuck off me and EX moves (depending on their usefulness for whatever character I play).
I don't think stage transitions are going to be a huge part of the actual metagame. NRS is just overplaying their existence because people love novelty. The transitions will have some sort of role, I'm sure... Getting to areas where the background interactives are more in your favor or whatever. For the most part, I think people are just going to opt to hold on to the corner rather than blow meter on a gimmick.
Stage transitions will mostly be used for winning with style. Calling it now.
EDIT: Wait... can you transition from anywhere on screen or does it have to be in the corner? I'm tired as fuck but everything I can remember showed the transitions happening pretty close to the corner.
If it's anywhere on the screen, it's basically 25% meter for an autocombo and a few seconds to collect your thoughts. Which is sweet.
There's so much shit to do with meter in this game...
There is a certain range near the corner of the stage you can do a transition from. In training mode you will be able to highlight it.I dunno, seemed reasonable to me. 1) I fucking love this game's training mode. I don't think I've ever utilized training mode in a fighting game for anything other than practicing combos. This game might change that. Considering once I get my head around a fighter's metagame and find my character, I maintain a 75% win average in every fighter I play... I'm interested to see if this will have a positive effect on that. I'd love to be kicking 8-8.5 out of every ten asses rather than 7.5...There is a certain range near the corner of the stage you can do a transition from. It could actually be some help to characters that have a lack-luster corner game. Easy big damage and it can reset the environment in their favor again.snip
