Just kidding man, I also prefer 1v1s. People love that koth though. I'll sit in the room for an hour waiting for someone to play, but they just join koth or leave right away.

KoTH with more than 3 people max is just horrendous. I don't know why people go in those huge lobbies, the lag is truly unplayable. Occasionally, I'll hop in lobbies and just watch people though, then skip out when it's my turn and reconnect. I just can't deal with that lag, but it is interesting to watch how others play on occasion.

Granted, it is online, so the actual use of this is highly debatable; especially in a feature that's known to be notoriously laggy. 1v1 or bust, imo.

Interesting point. I hate waiting, too. I go into a room and challenge anyone I can so I can play now as opposed to later. Unless its the wharf room, the lag sucks but the players are all cool and don't suck.

i love TYM KOTH rooms. some matches are like the ones on the streams. and if you want to play 1v1 just wait till someone joins.

Well you still have all the other rooms to play. If you dont want to wait, then join another room and play. Comeback later and check :D

I'm on ps3 but I love KOTH. The connections usually fairly decent for me and very playable, only thing about KOTH tho is it seems that if 1 guy has a bad connection it can screw every1 else over.

I don't really mind waiting either, if I have something else to do (I'll normally watch the matches tho and have fun and comment in the chat room) then I'll do that waiting. But really you learn a lot more playing against different people then the same guy over and over again, and winning feels a lot better because it means less of a wait time and matches are always more hype when someone's managed to glue their ass to the throne and its getting close.

TYM room rules. I'll get in there a little later and get ya'll some easy wins.
What's funny is that games for me run MUCH smoother in KOTH than they do 1v1. I rarely lag in KOTH but 1v1 gets ugly sometimes.

I was playing cage vs a cyrax and it was CLOSE. I saved my X-ray til the end of the 3rd round until I got in trouble or until it was a sure win.

He was less than 20% life and I was under 5%, he comes for a jump in crossover and I hit it at the last second but he read me perfect. He didnt attack. He jumps away again, drops a bomb at my feet and t bags til it explodes and I die since jc was doing his "come on!" taunt.

He then netted me for the
finish him and I was laughing out loud at this great use of t bag.

Props to this guy.

since your LK is one of the best I played online, please can you give me some tips about connecting F24 bicycle kick. I will just copy/past my question:

guys, I have problem connecting bicycle kick after F2 4 (combo is b312 dash b312 dash F2 4 Bicycle kick). If i do as soon as I input F2 4, bicycle kick won't come out? If I do it to late, target already hits the floor. Any advices ? What is timing for it ? thanks

gg foxy, he was playing Sonya and I was playing Sub, and yeah, he demolished me. This was the first time I played Sonya (I don't know anything about her) and 44% combos are so crazy man.

hello australians, i apologize if this is in the wrong area but saw other threads advertising for partners so here goes

i play on 360 and im looking for practice partners or mentors to help me improve my game. to me winning and losing are equally important and to me losing means learning. i main kung lao and use him most of the time, alongside some Noob, rax, scorp and i would like to slowly learn these characters.

i enjoy long 1v1 sessions. i must stress i use kung lao a lot, ive only owned the game for roughly 2 months and KL is my only serious character. i dont want to sound arrogant but if you are the kind of person who will be upset by this, please reconsider adding me. i enjoy koth if the wait time isnt too long. id rather play than watch many games.

im happy to play with you until the cows come home. but i noticed a lot of people quit when they win a game or two. i cant get better unless you stay and fight me. neither can you. we both want to get better so lets respect each other and practice together!

add me on 360 if you need some extended KL practice or you can teach me some KL or you just want a partner: 'x5iVE STAR' (with a space between words)
