Last Saturday Mortal Kombat players of Athens, Greece gathered for a tournament. Featuring the area's best with known names such as Metzos, Hidan, Nikolas and many more it was time to throw down. They've recently uploaded parts of the tournament featuring the Top 8 with over an hour's worth of footage. It's time to see how our friends in Athens have been shaping up.

Not gonna happen any time soon cause I'm leaving for 9 months due to compulsory army enlistment sadly :(

I'll not *DISSAPPEAR* for 9 months but me showing up in tournaments and/or casual play will be greatly limited....

p.s. I'll be around in 9 months if you guys still are though :p

But he wasnt ! :) He admitted it afterwards. Thnx Mustard, glad you liked it. I believe correct spacing and good dashes and back dashes are extremely vital if Ermac wants to win against Cyrax.

frankie came in the last tournament as well

you need to play on your life lead big time, also remember to poke out after strings like cyrax's 21 as you're at neutral, unless you see the 212 of course

Always love seeing these guys in action on MK9. Can't wait to see what kind of work they be doing in Injustice aswell. Metzos, what kind of reactions and opinions do the players have over there with each new info and gameplay videos we get from Injustice?

We are really excited for the game. Hidan will play Bane, I will main Doomsday, Grundy and Raven, Qwark will play Joker. Nikollas doesnt know yet. I was saying to him to play Cyborg (Sektor reference :p). We really hope the game does well. It looks really promising. I also hope Lobo makes it into the game.

Great to see you guys playing again!

Also 8:00 in, I'm happy to hear other people also think sektor sucks at wiff punishing, that's the one thing I wish he could do better.

Awesome! I love watching other scenes play MK, it's kinda mind blowing that our "dead" game is stilled played by numerous people around the world.

Metzos Any tips on how to use Ermac's D3? Should it strictly be used on a crouching opponent (given that it's +5, while it's negative on hit against a standing opponent), and how should I implement it? Any tips on its general purposes/how to follow it up/etc would be appreciated.

If you check my match against Frankie's Cyrax, thats what i did. Cyrax has pretty much nothing against an Ermac who positions himself correctly when he zones.
