I decided to make a change to the tournament schedule for next week's contest at Galloping Ghost Arcade.

Due to the larger numbers of younger people who attend the tournament for MK instead of the Capcom games (and the overall smaller number of total entrants), I'm swapping the schedule around so that MK will be the first tournament to start at 8:00. Marvel will start shorty after--if not simultaneously--and AE will begin just over an hour later.

If this is especially unpopular with many people I will revert to the old schedule. Otherwise, I think this schedule will be better both for both the attendees and the stream.

Better late than never but...good games to everyone that came out Sunday! I hope to see everyone on Thursday, so long as Waffles doesn't play Liu Kang anymore. lol...

Good stuff to everyone that came out to the GGA event yesterday, especially the champ, 16-bit. The only other thing I can say is I need practice against Kung Lao.

Had some good games at GGA on Saturday. Wish I could have stayed for the entire tournament but I was already girlfriendmurderingme-ly late for another Halloween party. Good games to HAN, his Cyrax destroyed my Ermac and had a healthy win against my Raiden. Had plenty of great casuals with Dizzy, and Waffles.

Anything going on on Thursday this week?

I'm going. But only if I can find ANY information about it. I searched all over here and about 7 pages in on the tournament forum on SRK. I can't find anything on their website or facebook. So... I emailed them.

This Saturday I Play Games! will be at Ignite Network located at 3171 N. Clybourn Ave. Take the Mortal Kombat Challenge! MEET GREET and PLAY Mortal Kombat Professionals and members of Empire Arcadia Tom Brady, and Carl White "Perfect Legend" accompinied by Empire Arcadia's founder Isiah Triforce Johnson!

Our good friends Jared Hoffa from VGTVNOW.COM will be providing the stream and coverage of the event. Special guests Keisha Howard and the Sugar Gamers will be in attendance also!!!!

@ Heroic_Legacy: I'm sure it would, but since you (cyrax) are so far away you'd be able to punish a wakeup attack on reaction. Kung Lao could spin out of this setup and the saw wouldn't hit, but during it's recovery cyrax gets another combo starter. I suppose it's character and meter dependent.

Sorry to disappoint you but I will show up at GGA again, in fact I plan on going to get some practice soon. Your buddy beat me and dizzy but I'd like to see how he'd do after people learn to adapt to him. I'm being nice and civil in this post because he won fair and square but you should know that the MK GGA croud doesn't take well to those that aren't there to level up and improve their game. I'd like to play anyone in that category, wether they beat me regularly or not so have your group stop in for casuals sometime if you're interested.
