General/Other GTTV Reveals Raven for Injustice: Gods Among Us

Just remember this when you compare it to Wesker. Wesker also had ridiculous damage, super easy combos that did over 70% due to that, a hyper that randomly crossed up, and his gunshot was super fast allowing him to hit confirm into a combo with that teleport from full screen. Dante and Vergil's ports were so good because they usually led to a super high priority crossup maneuver like helm splitter or hammer too.

Raven has a good Port, but unless she can full screen hit confirm into a combo with it or unless she has a ridiculous air move that can follow it up it'll be fine. Just a good tool in general but nothing to fear yet.

MVC3 also moves 100x faster than Injustice and has assists.

See this is what annoys me. I have no problem with people having their own preferences and tastes, but i have literally yet to see anything beyond Nostalgia as a reason for why people like Raven

every time i've asked all i get is "i loved teen titans" or counter questions that don't go anywhere

Raven has been one of my favorite DC characters since about 1998. From some of the first comics I ever read. I enjoy her character and her powers. For this, I wanted her in the game. I wanted Zatanna over her, however. But I don't think that will happen so I will gladly take Raven.

People concerned with Raven, that big combo she did took 3 bars of meter, the second one she did took a bar or two. She's not gonna be able to do huge combos like that for free so don't worry about it.


Edit: Wow, nevermind, that second big combo she did took 5 BARS OF METER.


Edit 2: She only teleports when her trait is activated, I think that's the only time she can use it as her powers seem to amplify.

Definitely. Any teleport with good options to follow it up with an assist to lock you down for a moment was a good setup in Marvel. This game wont allow for such shenanigans as assist setups and I whole heartedly agree that moves are super fast in MVC compared to this.

Having krypto would be amazing, I know it never going to happen but one can hope..

maybe in the background, somewhere... I don't remember if DC settled the controversy about him, but Krypto (new Krypto) is in Morrison's Action Comics right now.

First combo you can see the circle of light for the "meter burn" twice and she uses a stage interaction. For the second she activates her trait, you see the meter burn circle 3 different times and she wall bounces so, no, I was wrong, it's 6 BARS OF METER.

I wonder if her Red ability boosts her meter gain in addition to her gaining moves? I seriously doubt it because I think all these vids had infinite meter turned on for them but just something I thought I'd throw out for conversation's sake.
