And yes, I honestly think that you should do commentary from now on because of how well-rounded in the FGC you are and you are also a very good public speaker. You know your shit and you're easy to hear and understand. Props to you, MarkMan! ;)

It was nice to finally meet Dan, THTB, Tim Static, and Krazie Bone. Hopefully we can get to chat more next time around. Maybe at Season's Beatings.

Good games to everyone I met and played in tourney and casuals! It was really inspiring to see the best MK players go at it and gave me so many new ideas. I had a great time, learned a lot and have a good idea of what I need to work on.

Michelangelo - Nice job making it through the troll-tier gauntlet! Sheeva a hard counter to the 'mac? haha jk. Easily the best player on our team, thanks for making us not look like complete garbage rofl.

THTB - Sick reptile! You and REO were the first two I saw playing in casuals and it left a big impression seeing the game being played at that speed. Hopefully we'll see each other at events fairly often and I won't get double flawlessed!

REO - Easily the most talented player overall. I think you are going to be the favorite to win when the dust settles. It was fun/annoying to play vs your cyber sub lol!

Tom Brady - We didn't really talk, but thanks for all the tech you showed ppl over the weekend. I'm watching the stream archive now and your commentary is helping me learn a lot!

Carl - You are cheap as hell, no skill...psyche, good shit on making it to gf's. Another quest complete, well done knights.

Krayzie Bone - Thanks for waking my ass up in our first tourney match! haha. I had to really step my shit up after that. Sheeva in the exhibition is some of the best irl trolling I've seen in awhile, not an easy feet to accomplish. ;7)

Riu - Good games, it was a lot of fun playing you. Thanks to you and Webster for showing me dash cancels, I didn't know about that!

DanCock - It's really cool to see such an underused character played well. You gotta go beast mode and get all the scrubs on a Sindel bandwagon lol!

Jebailey - Raiden trolling ftw! Glad I didn't have to play against it. Good luck with CEO! FINISH HIM!

MarkMan - Thanks for everything you do for the community. I'll see you at SB!

Nick McLovin - I feel you on the new game messing you up on Ultimate. But face it, It's Time To Move On. (TM) You'll be a beast if you concentrate on this game.

Playing To W1n - Raiden is hella annoying lol! Good shit the few casuals we had. One of these days I'm gonna give that nigga a power surge LOL

Dunno if you read this forum, but Min it was good to finally meet you! Hopefully next time we see each other there we'll have more free time to hang out.

First off, I wanna say thanks to everyone that made powerup happen; It was an amazing experience being my very first tourney i've entered and I'll definitely be back next year.

I also wanna give a shoutout to all the mk players/vets I played in the tournament as well as in casuals. It may sound silly but gettin my head stomped in by ya'll really helped me understand things about characters as well as how to improve my playstyle.

I also wanna give a special shoutout to Webster aka digimonemperor aka devildigimon for actually giving me some tips about quan chi as well as a few other characters; also for giving me his psn. I even managed to show you something which suprised me a bit, heh.

But yeah thanks to everyone that made Powerup such a great event; I may have took a loss but what doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

Oh yeah, I'll be back; and I'll be stronger than ever. People will remember the name, "Chilly, The Chill One!":evilgrin1:

God shit everyone! Definitely will try and make it to tournaments in the year of 2012. EVO, Devastation, etc. No tournaments for me in 2011 since I'm busy playing in the sandbox, lol. Looks like I got to try and get back into my Cyrax groove again. @^_^@ Once again congrats to the guys from TYM who made top 8. Way to rep! :congrats:

for some odd reason the bracket isn't completed on my tio. can someone tell me who was top 5 again? =/

i believe tom brady was sent to loser vs. perfect legend, then won the tournament in grand finals.

and i know floe and sabin lost vs. their opponents thtb and riu48. so 3rd - 5th placers i need info on.

once i get that info, i'll upload the bracket and create a results thread or edit the op of this one. and add pictures from various facebooks too.

really wish i would have spend more than two days playing this game... didn't realize how much fun it was going to be. I think i was top ten.... i couldn't handle riu's cage rush dow. one i learned to just hold block in casuals it was a little different.

Bone. Dude, your a legend from the 3d games and i look forward to seeing what you do in this game.

reo... solid man. learned a lot from playing you and tom.

Tom. good stuff man. that sub is my sim in the game. i went to CC last night and played about 100 games and only lost 5 or 6.... had a crap ton of time out victories (which i prefer to win every single round with). really happy they put the game in your hands to make some decisions.

rob khonsu and x factor... fun stuff in the hotel

big marcus... leave cyrax alone and take your talents to someone else man. he just doesn't have the tools.



Aside: good money matches with mike ross, alex jebaily, noel, and all others i played.

im still un winding after this past weekend... pretty much it was drive for 10 hours, pass out for 3 hours then work for 10 hours come home and sleep then get up for work today for 10 hours.. lol

also to tom brady and Riu48 for helping me with some tips and making me aware of how important PRACTICE MODE is.. thanks you two for helping me level up my game with sindel, sadly it was too late. I got owned by the EVIL kung Lao..

1st Perfect legend knocked me out of winners with that toooo powerful Kung Lao, then Justin Wong knocked me out of Losers with that Lao O_O i have zero clue how to punish Kung Lao.. add to the fact i cant really Instant air fireball with a pad.. Pad OMG dont get me started.. im bringing my huge big stand to tourneys now. ill take a pic of it later..
