90s was also the rise of electronic music. I wish Jungle is as big now as it was then. Hip hop was also better.

What does it matter that the great movies of the 90s weren't set in the 90s? They were still made in the 90s. There aren't very many movies before the 90s that are as good as shawshank redemption and forrest gump.

And back then, CN and Nickelodeon could do no wrong. Simpsons were the best in the 90s, rivaled by the early 00s. In japan, DBZ started in 89 but didn't get good til the 90s. DBZ came to north america in the 90s. Also fresh prince.

It was probably the best time in basketball too. Michael Jordan dominated and it was the last time we had good centers.

People generally forget that the 90s was also the last era of the traditional tv sitcom.

Fresh prince, family matters, seinfield, friends, frasier, full house etc. Etc.

90s was also the last era where most kids knew how to just go outside and play.

90s was the last era where saturday morning cartoons were a BIG deal.

The 90s were about bright colours and moon shoes. Also, super soakers.

The 90s gave us the first great console war, it gave us the greatest system of all time...the snes.

It gave us the n64 and the psx.


The 90s were awesome.

Ps: I was born in 88, so i experienced alllllll of the 90s.

The 90's were pretty damn good, except for women's pants lol... you wouldn't catch me dead wearing this crap. luckily most people dressed like they were going to a metal concert.

Back in the 90s there was no such thing as 'Piracy', it was called sharing floppies
And when we say floppies, we mean FLOPPY.

In the early 90's people used things called BBS's (bulletin board system), your modem would dail a number, you'd connect to a text based, rudimentary internetish type menu where you got files etc... girly pictures were traded in 16->256 colors in compuserve GIF format. Windows 3.1 was still around. We used this stuff because the internet wasn't even really common yet.

What did images look like in before windows 95 (or should i say JPEG)? lol
