I'm currently working with SEARS to find a front end developer. I figure some of you might be into software/web development or know people who are. My company is offering a 500 dollar referral for any candidate who ends up being selected by SEARS. Below is the requirement.

* Expertise in responsive design
* Hands on experience with Agile Methodology
Good to have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a top university OR Master's degree.
Successful candidates will be highly motivated, self-driven and willing to work on-site at Hoffman Estates, IL (Chicago area). Can they work virtually or does the position require living in the Chicago area?

this is an on site position so either someone in the area or someone willing to relocate. Also the pay is VERY good.
I'm the President of a networking group for a couple hundred unemployed professionals (won't be for much longer though ;)). There's bound to be someone that fits this skillset who would consider relocating for this. I'll send it their way.

Pad a resume (considering its only expected to take a year).

Too bad about the 2-3 year experience.

And the super vague description of what will actually be going on. Sounds about typical for a web developer.

BTW... this is what I do!!! It is fun :)

They are developing a new website kind of like Amazon.com meets Craiglist meets Groupon. i'm working on finding the front end people.

I work the back end shit and it's a pain in the fucking ass you lucky duck!
