Very fair. Zolomon was a lot more interesting as a character tbh, but we have Barry Allen in this game so Professor is what we would have to expect. Unfortunate.

Many of my friends who love superheroes, don't know who Martian Manhunter is. So I don't think that proves much. They can name 50 superheroes, and they wouldn't have been able to name him until I told them about him.

I don't know, 70% of my friends know him from the JL cartoon, although they just refer to him as either the Martian, or the green alien.

Yeah, i'm sure it varies.

My point is, he's not nearly as recognizable as many other A and B list heroes.

I dunno, mainstream people don't have much exposure to... Shazam, either.

Evidence of this is the fact that a fairly large portion of people don't realise that he went through a namechange at all.

Oh I do indeed, I guess part of my brain just never takes JLI seriously, I mean it's hard with Blue and Gold buggering about most of the time. Also when he's in the JLA I just don't think he gets enough spotlight, I probably need to re-read it a bit. He's becoming part of the new JLA in the New 52 which should be good.

As for Boon... I don't know, half the time I think we over-analyse what he says and the other half I think we over-simplify. It's generating this very tense "Trust no one, or anything you might hear... EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!" atmosphere
