Mirror Master would be so sick. Hope the dude's right about that.

No Martian Manhunter will suck though, for the same reason as no Raven would. Even though I'm largely indifferent, I'd like them in the game just so people stop asking.

They didn't reveal Aquaman when he made an appearance in the comics...because he hasn't made any appearance in the comics yet.

That was my only problem with the statement.

First off in DC universe acronym theory MMH is Martian Manhunter not MM. I said this a while ago and I will say it again, the folder on his desktop that was named MM is for Mirror Master who is one of the Flash's main nemesis.
In the most recent issue of the prequel comics Mirror Master makes an appearance. I don't know why they would introduce Mirror Master (again the true MM) in the comics if he wasn't going to be playable in the game. They revealed Aquaman when he appeared in the prequel comics so I think we will see some new characters when they appear in new issues.
On Boons twitter the most requested character is MMH. I think Boon is trying to fool us into believing he isn't playable at release. He will probably not be revealed until release ala Smoke on MK9. Such an integral figure in the DCU it would be idiocy not to put him in the game because he would make a great character, have great mechanics and would be visually different (green skin, purple costume, etc).
ZOOM? LOL. He doesn't have a prayer.. I've never heard anyone ever request him. Proof of the troll right there. Grodd, Captain Cold and Mirror Master are all more known and likely than Professor Zoom.
Unofficial DLC vote sounds like malarky. To me the whole thing is hinting at a Flash villain (MM) and trying to make us believe MMH is a post-release character. Am I the only one who sees this as BS?"

MMH will probably win, and I don't mind.

I would rather have Zoom though.

I want to play as a speedster, and they utterly failed to make Flash interesting in anyway.

I wish I had some artistic talents, I've been thinking about how they could do his moveset in a way that differentiates itself from Flash totally and would love ta share what I see in my head. Honestly, I think he could make for a really cool character. Ditto for MMH, of course. I'd like to have both if at all possible. Da greed.

This sounds like Boon's way of breaking it to everyone that MMH is not in the game.

Why else would he throw the name Professor Zoom at us, when he clearly already stated he wasn't going to have him in the game because he'd be an unpopular duplicate.

My guess is that he is not in the main roster because he wouldn't go well with the storyline, but he will be in the first haul of DLC characters.

I think it's pretty damn obvious that this is not a real contest. Martian Manhunter is just too awesome to leave out for very long. I wouldn't be surprised if he was up for grabs within two weeks of release at least.

Don't see how MMH can't fit into the story. Hell, how can Sinestro when he isn't even stationed near Earth? They found a way for Sinestro, they can find a way for Martian Manhunter.

When Aquaman was revealed Ed Boon said There was noway he would not be in so WHY IN DA HELL would they leave Martian out?? The entire Main JLA is in so WITHOUT QUESTION he is in, on disk and apart of the storyline I'm like 200% sure. Quote me mothafuckasss :D

I'm not up on new 52 honestly (halfway through Batman - The Dark Knight) so I wouldn't know.


Change it up then; how is Bane gonna be a major part of the story? Or Catwoman? And no, this isn't my dislike of Batman speaking but I think MMH can fit into a story like this way more than a Catwoman.

I can think of plenty of reasons for both to be in the story. I could see J'onn being pressured into working as a cog in the Regime, his mental powers an obvious boon to a police state's enforcement/"rehabilitation". Overabuse and the accompanying psychic feedback leads to a mental breakdown which in turn leads to some violence.

Or something. That's just off the top of my head.

This does sound like a way of telling everyone MMH isn't in the game and controlling expectations. I think they did this more b/c they wanted a recognizable character that will sell DLC more than for story reasons though.

Okay... I just sort of have to say it, as a massive fan of comics myself where is everyone getting the idea that Martian Manhunter is so integral to the DC Universe, he really isn't.

What like Justice League Unlimited? I suppose most of them are in so far so it's sort of plausible.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he won't be in, it's just that he's not as crazy important as everyone seems to believe he is.

I have kinda been thinking the same thing, I personally do not see the hype for him, but then again a lot of people do not like other characters like I do.
It certainly would be cool if he was in the game, but I am just not as excited for him as others are.
