If you're in an area where there aren't a ton of other Comcast customers then they tend not to care. I was the same way, literally like 4 other comcast customers on my infrastructure so even when I went over they did nothing. Other people will get calls, suspended account or terminated internet for repeated offenses.

Google Fiber is going to spread like the plague. Once they get it out of the Kansas / Missouri area, I think that it is going to absolutely take off.

I would love this, but I think that is a pipe dream. The investment to run that much fiber in non-dense population areas coupled with how the current cable providers are in bed with the government is going to complicate things. LET'S ALL MOVE TO A FIBERHOOD!

Yea i just don't know. I mean, they minimize their locations. Stay with appliances, cell phones, Geek Squad, PC stuff, and maybe just limit their HD tvs & such and obviously, digital media only. I can't see it working much differently than that.

That really makes me sad too, because aside from Putt-Putt job, lol, Best Buy was a great job experience. but like Mr Dylan once said, the times are a-changin'...

Yea they do oversell internet here in the states. What I pay for my internet is a ripoff plain and simple, but I NEED a decent connection for the things I do online. A DSL connection won't cut it. Upstream speeds are notoriously low in the states. And those symmetrical ones you come across charge an arm and a leg.

People don't realize how unhackable the PS3 was, it literally got hacked by accident when someone stole a dongle from a Sony employee. Even today it's not fully hacked unlike the Xbox/Wii, it remains to be seen what new systems they've implemented but the old system worked fantastically.

The Wii is so fucking easy to hack, it's unreal. I'm surprised it hasn't become console of choice in tournaments for classic games. It's literally the best device for classic console emulation, if you exclude PC.

I think the geek squad over priced setup has helped them capture the older generation who knows nothing of computers.

I always buy my TVs and warrentys and laptops from best buy

they still to this day have best warrentys. Only place i know i can still get a full 4 year no questions asked warrenty on a TV and say that tv stops working in 3 years and you paid 1600 for it, in 3 years you get a credit for a new tv for 1600 that you paid for. Not the current worth of model

It literally takes an SD card and it's full blown hacked, ridiculous really. It may have to do with the controller if anything but I doubt it as the classic controller is fine.

Yeah, I can agree with this; I had an old iPod, and I got a replacement plan for it; the hard drive ended up failing, like 4 times -- and they gave me a brand new iPod Touch to replace it.

Yeah, this is also the case with cell phones advertising 4G speeds and streaming video/sports apps, but capping your bandwidth at 2-4 gigs a month.
