I am looking for a local "mentor" that wants to help me get serious. I am a former pro-cod player and fairly new to the fighter scene. I know the basics, and I definitely have the skill and potential, but I need someone to spend some time teaching me about the more in-depth topics.

I have a lot of experience hosting lans, and tournaments, and I am looking to host, organize, or just be apart of local MN tournies. I want to get my own knowledge up before I go that far.

If anyone is willing to do some casuals let me know. I can host, I'll provide food and beer.

I'm located in Waconia. Send me a PM if you're interested. (18+ plz)

If your ever available go to the Games N Go in Rosedale on Tuesday we have some very good MK players that show up.

Its in Rosedale mall phone number 651-636-6099 or drive out to a tournament. We are having one July 1st at 6pm. It should be a good time!!

Heh.. You guys at gamesngo buffed out my giant scratch on my mk disk back in April. :)

Thanks for that. lol, I wish I knew there were tournaments there; I likely would have attended a few, since rosedale is like, 5 minutes from my house.

What do the winners get, or is there information on the gamesngo website?

What console is the tournament usually held on? I ask because I've only played on xbox with the rotatable d-pad controller.

Would be good to know if I need to get confortable with different pads before deciding to participate.

ok so I don't know when you guys run but I know that I would love to join you guys in some Mortal Kombat. I don't know when is your next tournament is but I would love to go to some soon. I live in Watertown, South Dakota and would like to come out there. When are the days and when is the next couple tournaments out there?

I think that's how it went down. I'm sure Gene's got a more accurate / more complete list. Rocksteady's Shang Tsung was a beast.

For those of you interested in getting some MK play in let me know. I'll be hosting weekend game nights regularly for the remainder of the summer / fall.
