To many to list but one that to this day I still play the Ninja Gaiden & the original trilogy. Part 1 had me though because of the cut scenes and the kick ass soundtrack/game play.
I also thought someone else would of pick this game too.

Probably Zelda 2 and the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2.
Both games are really challenging without being stupid about it. Beating them really made me feel like I accomplished something.
