It MIGHT have been me and my cousin. We talked about things such as Quan's trance trade properties, Baraka and other random shit lol. I also was was part of that Ermac gauntlet on Friday haha. I kept failing to punish your trances lmao. Anyway it was awesome talking to you and I hope to see you at NCR :)

SCR was a blast, one of the most pleasant experiences that I've ever had at a major, and HANDS DOWN one of the most exciting tournaments that I've ever watched (tied with MLG Anaheim for #1 probably.)

#1 person:

TenZeRo7 for being the best TO that I have ever had the pleasure to attend an event by. Seriously, everything ran on time, there were SO many setups, zero problems the whole weekend. Stream was great, everything was great, great great great. This includes the rest of the EGP team like Friar Bawb, AC130, and Rampage (is that his tag?)

rest of persons:

First of all thank you to everyone who traveled, no matter how close or far to come to the tournament. Continuing to support the game by going to events is the absolute #1 way to support this game that we love, and I appreciate each and every one of you who had the balls to show up. I'll get to more specifics later.

Pig Of The Hut Thanks for traveling out such a distance. I know you were under the weather and had hella time restraints, but you were a big part of what made the tournament hype, and you did a great job in top 8.

GGA 16 Bit thank you for traveling so far to make it too. It took a lot of guts to show up to an event so recently after huge drama, but I'm really glad you did. You had a great showing, and proved once again, that you are the Kabal Killer. Also really liked doing commentary with you.

WoundCowboy maaaaan, how much can I even say about this guy. VIP of the whole freakin tournament! You were THE HYPE at SCR! Not only did you get 2nd, but you had to fight your way through HELL to get there. You had to beat Pig, DAB, XBlades, Detroit, and DJT (who knocked you into losers) to get to where you did. I would be happy beating any of those guys once EVER!

DetroitBalln I'm glad you stuck with Kabal the whole way through. I think he's your best by far, and I feel that if anyone can overtake REO with Kabal, it could be you.

EGP_TYRANT stay free.

XBlades stay free to blade sparks. That shit damages you. Try not to jump into it.

Denzell maaaan you're such an asshole. I'm tired of being free to Vegas though, watch for me next time!

daddydab32ho damn, getting top 8 all the time now! Like I said though, stick with Kabal, but use Jax more! Your Jax is nuts! You're hella good with so many characters, but it seems like that messes you up sometimes. You gotta choose the best out of the greats!

MITDJT I know you're salty about losing to Vegas just outside of top 8, but you still did well, and I think if you keep going with Liu you'll do great because your footsies are insane. I'll withold judgement on your Sonya until I see her.

Flawedzilla good to see you finally back in the game, but I didn't get to see you play almost all weekend! Guess I'll have to see you at the next event.

Blind_Man shoutouts to all the Kenshis tying! Your playstyle in general, and the way you play against Lao inspired me to stick with Kenshi even after SCR, so thanks for that. You seriously are the best at fighting Lao! I hope you didn't get into too much trouble at home =/

The_SNKE nice seeing you again, SoCal is going to try and make it out for NCR. I just hope we can get more info soon.

michaelangelo I wish I could have seen how much trouble you caused after the tournament! That means I've missed it two years in a row... maybe next year though! Always the best to commentate with. Give me some of that positivity damnit!

Reno_Racks Nice seeing you again, didn't get to talk too much though.

I think that was most of the NorCal guys. There was one guy I didn't really get to meet too well though.

KingHippo another one of the Kenshis that tied! I like your Kenshi, I might have even stole a few things from you, but I'll never tell! Mwuahaha. Sucks that you had to play Pig, I don't know what I would have done in that situation.

AYSAMO sorry, hope it didn't seem like I was counterpicking you, I was actually maining Kenshi for the tournament! Good games though, super close (the footage got deleted though)

Son ov Timett thanks for the rides as usual. I was really bummed after losing, so sorry if I was complaining a lot. You played really well that weekend, and we'll see if you like changing styles. We definitely need to have some casuals once we are all healthy, haha. Oh and Touch Fighter is hype.

SatsuiYesHadou ahhh you're so close! You eliminated me at Dallas so you gotta make all Top 8's to make me look better! You and Seven were probably the least known players that did the absolute best at this tournament, and I think everyone knows who you are now. Soon you will be going REO on everybody's asses.

pboardplayer so close! Did you opinion on the Lao Kenshi matchup change at all this weekend? Haha.

WhatsHerName that Reptile! You and Nubcakes (who isn't on here) are the new SoCal reptile reps! So close to a huge upset against Detroit, maybe if you had gone Reptile the whole way.

Nubcakes had some big upsets and great play, almost took down 16 bit. Wish he was on here.

@MF Slayer You were in the zone! I've never seen anyone look so intense during a match before! Like so many other SoCal players, you almost pulled an amazing upset, and hopefully it helps people know who you are better. You played great all weekend, but I'm still the Touch Fighter champ!

LETHAL LEGEND another SoCal who almost pulled a huge upset during the first match. You actually made it really far in Losers after that, and you did well. I wish we had gotten to see more of you on stream. Are you sticking with Sektor after this or switching?

Seven74 (man I hope this is the right tag!) like I said earlier, one of the least known but most successful players at the tournament, and with Ermac! You are super dangerous, and I screamed like a little girl when you hit 312 xx Lift on stream.

Me and GuamoKun are not on speaking terms right now because he turned me into a cup.

killa_solid who took out SO many killers! I would have liked to see you use Cyrax a bit more, but I think it's always good to put faith in your ultimate main, so I hope you don't have any regrets. I think we had a 1$ bet as to whether or not Chris G would make top 8, but that isn't fair since you ended up knocking him into losers, haha. I think I called you "the #1 slept on player of the entire tournament" on stream.

and my last 3 that I forgot are:

Konqrr 801 Vegeta and I have no idea what Nooby's tag is.

Good games after the tournament Sunday. You all kinda blew me up, I shouldn't have used Reptile.

I feel really bad that Konqrr had the worst luck as far as tournament pairings go. =/

My shoutouts, wanted to do this sooner but I also caught the SCR plague =/

First and foremost shoutouts to TenZeRo7 for hosting what's probably going to end up being my favorite MK tournament ever. You're an awesome guy and I'm glad I was able to catch you for a second before I left :)

Before I begin I'd also like to give a huge shoutout to my cousin Forbidden_Doughnut. I couldn't ask for a better trip buddy and support. Such an awesome trip!

I'll start with SoCal since it was their home

EGP Wonder_Chef - it was awesome seeing you again, I wanted to get some casuals in but it didn't work out :(. Oh well, hopefully at NCR we can play!
EGP_TYRANT - Man, good freaking shit, I couldn't help but wanna come up to you every time you had a crazy moment. I'm still in shock about that comeback against Satsui.
pboardplayer - It was great playing with you again and hanging out. You're such a cool guy. Hope to see you at NCR :)
@Shoryuken - Great games man, we never really talked but hopefully we will next time.

Pig Of The Hut - It was seriously awesome getting to finally meet, you're just as cool as I thought you'd be...and even cooler for having us in your room Friday night. I definitely hope to see you soon man!

GGA 16 Bit - It was great seeing you again, and I enjoyed talking about how much I love KTP haha! You're one of my favorite MK personalities, hope to see you again soon!

STB Shujinkydink - You're an awesome guy, it was great chatting with you. I'm not sure if you remember playing casuals with me at SCR 2011, but I still hold that as the hardest time somebody's ever destroyed me offline. You were using Skarlet and that was back when I was a Nightwolf main. That'd be a pretty funny thing to run back if we ever get the chance, haha!

DetroitBalln - We didn't really get to talk much, but all of your matches were really crazy. Was always a huge fan of yours. Hope to see you again soon :)

i honestly have no idea, i'm getting really good with Shang Tsung again and i feel like my amazing Jax is just going to waste

Then there is kenshi, But i don't really like taking the easy route. it pains me every time i counter pick @Son ov timmit lol, god that has happened too many times

Sektor is currently hitting a brick wall. Usually with whatever character i'm Maining at the time i could go into training mode or go play some casuals and find something new or some kind of gimmick to explore. but i haven't had that with Sektor in almost a month. Plus more and more people are abusing his holes in the counter-poke game and using feints to nullify the threat of iATU. Times are tough with the Robot and more MU appealing characters are readily available

i'm currently at a loss of what to do

That's pretty much how Sektor is..
He's not much of a gimmick machine once people understand him.

I've been there. You just need to play the same footsie playstyle he has and abuse stuff only when you kan.

I'm looking forward to getting that runback at NCR.. Definitely gonna try to make it up there as soon as I find out the dates.

I was pretty disappointed in myself after our match. I knew what I was supposed to do but so many people talking to me didn't let me clear my mind. Never had that happen to me before, not at that volume at least. Well, next time...

Smoke is one of those match ups where I feel I kan get pretty komfortable with I just don't have the experience. Hopefully at NCR we kan get some more games.
