Of course the game is looking like a fun, tournament-viable game; it's what matters most, but Wonder Woman seeming to have poor facial-representation is something that bothers people. It is a cause for concern, if it so happens that the majority of her fanbase does not like the way her face appears; it won't go down well.
Exactly what Im saying.there will always be a few discrepancies within a game whether it be the looks or gameplay.But as a whole we disregard them because overall it's a good game.If I were to main her and loved the way she played,I could care less about the structure of her chin.I know the process of character development and artists don't just draw or model a character and go with that one.They build many versions and it have to be approved from people on upper levels.Character modelers must model from the concepts they are provided too.
NRS is just terrible with people period. Look at Liu Kang's melty chest, or Kung Lao's greasy hair and terrifying hands.

Uh, no. I'm wondering why we have to focus on such superfluous topics at all. None of this matters even slightly towards the overall quality of the game, its not going to stop anyone from playing as wonder woman, and she looks totally kick ass in every other regard.
actually things like this are bad for reviews because wonderwoman has been the subject of a lot of male fantasies and looking like this it's a major disappointment. also it hurts their "graphics" rating. reviews directly affect sales. i wouldnt be surprised if they touched her up a little.
If someone doesn't buy the game because Wonder Woman has a bit of a manface that'd be just silly. I mean really.
that's not what i mean. lets say game informer looks at this game and the fighting, minigames, sound, etc would give it an 8.5/10. no lets say they lose a couple points on graphics because of things they could have touched up and get an 8/10. that .5 may be enough for some people not to buy the game because that may be a standard they set for the games they buy
It's not hurting anything.Even if they where to touch her up a little,they would have to start all over back to the beginning stages of her model.And even if they did they would have to fix her in her animation poses and facial blendshapes through every single frame of animation and that is a much more tedious and time consuming process than the actual creation of a character.They are not gonna waste the time and money and I wouldn't blame them.
i dont think it's as much as you think. all they have to do is thin her lips a little and take out some of the size of her hair and bam, hottie. the character model is already programmed into the scenes so editing that would edit the scenes too. it's a one time job that would probably take 4 hours to do.
I don't want to rob you of your opinion, all I'll say is, fighting games have a HISTORY of retarded animations / looks / etc. Duolon's retarded foot. Heihachi's thong. Chun Li's legs. Everything about Voldo. DoA's anti-grav boobs. And yes, even NRS man faces. But honestly, someone used MKvDC wonderwoman as a comparison, and maybe nobody else here remembered what the rest of WW's animations looked like in that game. But let me remind you, it was ridiculously bad. I will take crap face awesome animated WW any day.
Her old model would be programmed into the scene.You can't just replace the old one with the new one without having to animate everything over again.Touching her lips and other things up wouldn't be a problem.Everything would have to be retypologized back to a lower subdivision level so that it could be renderable in the game engine and if something were to be retypologized,it would have to be reanimated.I know that sounds like latin.lol.But Im honing my skills on character modeling and animation and I know that a task like this isn't easy as you think.Im not saying it's impossible though because it can be done.It would just be difficult considering how late into the game they are.
