This past weekend was an incredible one for the Mortal Kombat community as we had a total of 65 players travel to Southern California for the Road to Evo event, SoCal Regionals. Including infamous players such as Dark "Shujinky" Dink, GGA 16 Bit, TFA|RZR Pig of the Hut, KN|C.O.R.N. DetroitBalln and many more, came out to test their might against what the West Coast had to offer. Sure enough, it came down to two California players, EGP Tyrant (Jax) vs WoundCowboy (Shang/Sonya) in an epic grand finals match-up that shook the states as once 'underdog' EGP Tyrant took his first major.
