See, this is called an "Off Topic Post" and it's technically against the rules... posts like this do nothing for threads other than to derail them. These will be deleted.

Does being Nazis mean they won't give warnings? Surprise buttsex is never fun.

As I said, I expect moderators to be fair and use common sense.

Just as such, I expect you to use common sense when posting. It's not that hard.. if you think your post might be a flame, it likely is. This COULD mean an infraction and you should assume that the moderator WILL infract you for breaking forum rules. If they choose to give you a pass, that's up to them.

It's no different than the cop that pulls you over for speeding... he's SUPPOSED to give you a ticket, but sometimes he won't. Either way, you know that speeding is against the rules and you may get caught if you do it.

OMG, Phil! Sploosh! Thank you, lol. I've got a ghost town on the Jade forum. My players are too afraid to post because of flaming.

I'm to blame for being too lenient. I was neutral and gently asking things to stay on topic when I should have been warning and deleting. And now I've lost my posters, ironically, for trying to be a well liked mod, laid back mod...

I never want people to be shy to post what they find on there or ask questions. I never ignore a reported post, and I actually use that to help me judge when to delete or lock things. So if something might be flaming, and I'm having difficulty telling, without any report I error on the side of leniency and let it ride. Please, please use it. Also, pms will always be read and reacted to quickly.

I'll be doing some cleaning shortly... I've had family situations taking up much of my time, so while I'm always here, I'm not always productive and still need to make it pretty <3

I have no great qualm if I lose my moderator powers.
I think my constant want to stay neutral and keep peace is a little too squishy for the nerve required to properly hold down the law, but even if it wasn't, having a full-time job = I don't have nearly the amount of time to put into TYM as I used to .

I love this site, but maaaaaaaan, does it get crazier than it has any reason to.

I just hope the new year and the renewal of EVO brings about a more sane spring and summer than last year.
This game isn't dying any time soon. If anything, being brought back to Vegas again should pretty much solidify this game is NEVER going to die - a title with numbered days doesn't get 3 shots at the top, that's for sure. And we should all collectively learn to act as such when it comes to how we all carry ourselves...offline, online, on TYM or otherwise.

Than being said...if its stronger hammers 9.95 wants, then I will do my best to be more stern when delusion and idiocy come about.

That's why we have several moderators. No one expects any moderator or admin to be moderating on TYM all day. That's completely unreasonable and improbable. But we have enough mods so one mod can pick up the slack of another. We all have school, jobs, prior obligations, etc. Just moderate when you can and do it in a professional manner and you'll be fine.

REO is like family to me. He also knows I'll moderate him too.

He's not speaking to me since I closed that thread. Makes me sad.

ppl, i don't even think the other thread should stay on, its not different than insuperable's thread, and IMO doesn't even debatable, Tom Brady is indeed a very good player, and who doesn't believes this has a problem.
