Lol random scrubs are so bad that they're good at times.

As far as online goes. I use it to keep tabs on how people are playing chars and try out some new stuff. If I have a good connection with a good player I'll run some sets but I never put much stock into what the outcome is. Don't let it get you down

Dude it comes with the territory, expect to get salty when u lose to random scrubs with stuff u usually blow up offline, shit i played curbo today on psn and got blew up with a d4 into nomad dash which actually COMBO'D not to mention the lag had me playing like shit, but really that d4 into nd had me salty all day, i couldnt even block it lol.
YOO i would have quit right then and there LOL. GGs

Alright, so today I decided to hop online and play some games. I don't know what it was but everything seemed a little laggier than normal, but not unplayable. Hopped into ChaosRealm and lost a few matches, Anti Airs were coming out like 10 frames too late, a bunch of bullshit, but that was okay, my opponent was still pretty good, so i didn't feel that bad. I went back to practice mode and messed around with Cyrax. I was landing his 90~ percent bnb reset with the uppercut pretty much every time and i was feeling pretty good about it. Took that shit online, and some random dude challenged me. I figured what ever, i'll just play em and adjust the combo to the latency.

So i have Cyrax Vs Baraka, and to start off the match i was going to enhanced rag doll. Doesn't come out, and i eat a jip. He does some baraka basic combo like 121 or something. And just keeps fucking doing it. It was fucking stupid. I lost to fucking baraka. A trash baraka. One who only knew 2 fucking buttons, and i can land a 90% reset consistently. Fuck that shit, fuck online. I never really understood why everyone hated online so much until. It's fucking terrible. I'm just going to do ladder from now on til i find people in my area.

tl;dr Fuck online, fuck the netcode, fuck laggy ass jips
Sounds like someone doesn't like to lose ;). It is funny how you call him a scrub, yet your trying to pull-off a cheap "reset" that does 90%...I am sensing hypocrisy here.

So, everyone who plays Cyrax at top level is a scrub? Because all of them use resets. I could care less about my online record. I play for fun, because it's a game, but it's not very fun when you lose because the dude is doing the same shit over and you should be able to punish very easily but the lag makes it impossible.

That is not "top-level", that is just being ridiculous. A 90% combo, come on now, and you said he beat you by doing the same 121 over and over again. You attempted the same thing he did (to keep repeating the one combo-reset) , but he just beat you to it. You were both playing like "scrubs", he just managed to beat you at it. And using the 50%+ resets is absurd for all Cyrax players and the other characters that have massive damage is ridiculous (this is not directed at just you, but ALL players who do this) and need to be removed for Injustice and Mk10-future games.

You are taking this way to seriously dude. You are going to lose to people that you have no business losing to.we all do every once in a while.Especially when you are new to a character and you want to test it out on actual people. It's tough as hell to land things on opponents when you are using a character you have no chemistry with. And it's definitely hard when your opponent is mindlessly jumping around and throwing out random uppercuts and other shit and connecting. If you are gonna play online, you must look at it as if you are getting a general idea of the matchup. And you must also take into consideration that you will run into people who abuse moves that's hard to punish or react to online. You say that it's just a game and you play for fun which is how I feel also. But if you really felt that way,you wouldn't made this thread.I don't know exactly what skill level the guy you talking about was on but I do know that the majority of people online are really predictable. They do the same things over and over especially when they are winning.Just play skilled respectful people and you won't have this issue.

I'm not above talking shit, but I only do it when players absolutely refuse to adapt or change how they approach matches, usually this is reserved for button mashing noobs. I see it a lot when I play Sub-Zero. Too many people consistently just try and jump at me or chain recovery heavy projectiles or just moronically teleport, never ever stopping to strategize or adapt. Then of course, I get hate mail that I "spam ice clones" or whatever.

Really, just all consistently failing tactics that people refuse to change. Like, there's this Cyrax player on Vita that always chains two D4's and immediately goes into a net. At first, I would just block it and back off, and then I started dashing in after the D4's and blocked the net point blank for a punish. Do you think this stopped him from doing it? Of course not.

They of course also like to say "it's just a game". Yeah, a fucking fighting game. A STRATEGY game. If you're not playing to try and win, why are you even playing at all?! If you're too stupid to think your way around obstacles or at least TRY to, I'm going to call you on it.
