The Second Law by Muse was great. Soundgarden's new album is really cool too.

Harakiri disappointed me as well.

The faceless is probably my most dissapointing album of the year, or Tony danza tapdance extraviganza, i enjoy both albums alot, but expected more from both.

Dude For Today has the potential to be possibly the best metal right now, but if they would get off that preaching shit. I honestly think that's what is holding them back lol. Like really, go to one of their shows, and they'll spend a good 5 minutes talking about their savior lol.

As i lay dyings new release is disappointing, just had a listen and it wasnt as good as i had been told!

I've been to three of them haha. They are awesome live, it's no different than going to see the Acacia Strain and listening to them get really Nihilistic on everyone's ass. The only difference is that it's "dark and brutal" so metalheads don't care haha.
smokey That is how I have felt about As I Lay Dying's last couple of albums.

I didn't even know Arctic Monkey's had a new release, I'm going to have to check that out. Also, every Slipknot album is awesome fuck that. However I will admit that after Iowa it deteriorated a little.

I liked some parts of it, i just think theres too much beating around the bush and sections of pointless noises which i ended up skipping through to get back into the brutal shreddiness that i love about the album, kind of hit or miss for me im afraid.

Well actually that I understand, it did have a lot of background going on with it and little intermissions that were a little long.

I'm in the same boat actually lol, which sucks because I live in a really core heavy scene with few metal bands.

yea i only like the title track though,
lupe's food and liquor 2 and immortal technique's the martyr didnt live up to the hype if you asked me but were both still good.
has any1 checked out dethalbum 3

I like more than 5 songs that are non-singles, so I consider that a great album.

Lupe has always been the man!

idk what to think of this guy though some of his stuff is whack, he raps ultra repetitive and sometimes he's amazing. kendrick that is.

thats disappointing... 2 was not as good as 1 in my opinion so its safe to say they are on a decline?
