Guys, I don't mean to be cruel here, but if BoomGorillas is going to continuously shun us to the side while meeting the needs of one community more than others, I suggest we don't promote their tournaments to the events tab anymore. I see no point in supporting a team that simply does not care about us. I also feel for the rest of the players who played games that didn't get much stream time at all, if any. It really eludes me as to why they don't see it as an important task to satisfy ALL their supporters/competitors to the best of their ability.

This is utterly frustrating. I'm not trying to undermine how hard they work, but come on. -_-

It does suck, I am however planning on getting in contact with the UCC guys to see if MK can be ran as it's own tourney under then UCC Umbrella. There are some things we would have to sort out of course, but this would give us the ability to start it/run it independently from the other fighters. This is not to be hollywood, but to take stress off the TO's, and possibly run a dedicated stream and have more than one setup. I have no issue with the UCC guys, they bust their ASS at the barfights events. I do, however, think if we could run/stream MK ourselves it could benefit us greatly. They are after all a capcom community, so knowing the ins and outs of the MK FGC is not something I expect, nor do I hold it against them. It would also help with seeding as we would know better who lives where/practices with who and what have you.

Just because they are a Capcom community does not mean they can't take the time to welcome other communities into the fold. The fact that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 gets more stream time than literally all the other games combined just shows favoritism and it disrespects the other players who actually went out of their way to make plans for their event. I am not saying, "Don't support Marvel," I'm saying to make it worthwhile for all players no matter their game. I don't understand why this is so hard for them to do. The turnouts for other games won't grow if they keep up this trend.

I myself plan to welcome gameplay from Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (you Marvel fans had better thank me a great deal for this, especially after the extreme disrespect you guys showed in the NEC stream), Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Mortal Kombat 9, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and eventually Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale all onto my own Twitch channel once I upgrade its quality. Mortal Kombat is obviously going to remain the focus, but I'm working to establish common grounds for all players regardless of their game. I feel that this will have an overall positive effect on the fighting game community as a whole.

Nobody here can take away from their work. I understand that they do a lot, as they rightfully should, but...they still need to step it up with some things. If I am to be crucified for pointing this out, so be it. I feel equally bad for the other communities whose games got little to no support from BoomGorillas as well.

That said, Chris, if you can accomplish what you're planning, go for it. Keep us informed on how it goes, if you please. There is no excuse for the MK Dallas scene to be pushed under the radar.

I feel you completely. We're trying incredibly hard to not flounder, and with some of the new blood making it out to events, and the fact that this game is STILL getting fleshed out at the highest level, I think we still have a great chance to flourish and make a name for ourselves. On a lighter note, I really appreciate your fervor and zeal. You're like the Tony Robbins of the MK Community. I feel hella motivated now :D
