What's good... If you ever want to come out to get games just post up! M/W/F are the nights during the week. I host games in Addison on mondays, and there are games at the house of goons in plano on wednesdays and fridays. Also there are Fight Club MK ranbats on fridays as well in Ft. Worth.

Do you guys welcome new players? I don't want to go there and
a) be no fun to play against because i'm so bad (and in turn have nobody want to play me)
b) just get destroyed for a few hours and not be given pointers on how to improve

In all honestly I probably won't ever be tournament level but that doesn't mean I don't want to get better and have some fun with people offline.

I'm asking because I used to play quake competitively so I understand the need to get hard practice in so your game improves and typically the time to teach scrubs is limited.

I'd probably come out about once a month or so. I have a wife and kids so getting time to do stuff like this is rare. :p

Also, ICE, since you only list a PSN I assume the games are on PS3, I'm on 360 and I use a fightstick TE. Do you have a TE stick or am i sol?

You are more than welcome... We talk trash but it's all in good fun and we welcome anyone who genuinely wants to get better and play against quality comp.

We have 1 360 setup at the House of Goons. The other setups are ps3... We have sticks though so you should be good... I used to have a ps3 and 360 setup at my place but my 360 red ringed (thankfully before I bothered getting a 360 copy of this game... lol).

But yeah you are welcome to come on out when we have games... it pretty much goes down every single friday unless otherwise noted... For example, Brady, Boy George, and myself will be out this weekend since we are going to CEO.

GK: I just might try to make it out to the Killeen tournament... How many people do you think will show?

Excellent. Send me the info on where HOG is located and what time yall usually get rolling. I work in Frisco so I'd probably come down after I got off. Yall do pizza / beer and stuff like that or do I need to pick up fast food on my way?

I live about 60 miles north of Dallas, but I would be interested in a play session or tourney in the Dallas area (I really can't go any further than that). I've really been only able to play online with this game (new patch fixed my lag), but I used to play tourneys in MK1-MK4 arcade era. It'd be great to hang out with some other MK peeps.

Things usually jump off around 9 on fridays... I'll send you the address.

What we do for food varies week to week... But most often we play until we get hungry then go on a food run.

P.S. GK: There is a tournament in Dallas on Sunday... Still a maybe on saturday... we'll see.
