I just wanted to personally thank summoning and Shock for everything they and others from Ultra Spec did . Without you guys we would be fucked lol. I know the majority of people don't realize where everything comes from but I know how much time and effort you guys put in. And you are not making money from it just for the community and for MK. It's really fantastic and I am really grateful for everything.

For those that don't know these guys provide every piece of equipment as well as spending over 12 hours setting up. It's people and attitudes like this that make our community what it is and offset the negativity that sometimes over shadows the positive.

I got more thank yous coming in a bit.

Big thanks to SwiftTomHanks and Dark_Rob for doing their best to run brackets while in the middle of a shit storm. I know you guys put a lot of work into it and its a thankless job. Swift ran a lot by himself as well.

9.95 for providing the best stream you could and giving the people at home great entertainment. Thanks for all the work you out in here and normally.

pherleece for the awesome recording station and I hope to see some of those matches soon!

Thanks to EVERYONE who traveled like the GGA GUYS, egp, Atlanta, Canada, Houston, Australia, and more. Without you NEC would have never been as big, hype, or important as it was. Traveling costs time and money and is a sacrifice for some. Thanks again.

thank you all so much for all the work and sleepless nights to make this happen.
Yes, thanks to all of you. Running tournaments and live streams is a lot of work, and is often thankless. Even if there were some problems at NEC, that does not negate the work put in by these individuals, and it should be noted that there are already efforts being made to ensure a better experience for tournaments to come.

If anyone is curious as to just what exactly the MK community brings to the table at East Coast majors, here's an approximate list of inventory provided by UltraSpec/KombatNetwork at NEC, including anything brought by KN staff. The list consists of items brought by myself, Summoning, Phil, STORMS, DarkRob, Pherleece, AC1984, Swift Tom Hanks, Claude VonStroke, and DanCock:

5 Asus Monitors (4 of which we use at Red Bank Rumble on loan to us from Sweet Johnny Cage), 1 PS3, 1 MK9, a full HD stream rig complete with HD cameras, commentator monitor, mixer, headphones, mics etc, a PS2, PS3 and PS2 controllers, 3 UMK3 arcade sticks, 1 Megaphone supplied by me.

1 Asus monitor, 1 PS3, 1 MK9, a full HD stream rig complete with HD cameras, commentator monitor, mixer, headphones, mics etc, 4G wireless, PS3 and PS2 controllers, 2 additional HD monitors, additional PC for 2D games, 1 CRT, 1 PS2 supplied, bracket laptop, 1 set of speakers, surge protectors, two sets of headphones and all the trophies, medals and awards for the entire event by Phil.

2 PS3s, 2 MK9s, laptop for 2D stream games, 4G wireless (courtesy of Dawson) two additional HD monitors, 2 HD digital projectors, 1 extra projector, 11 sets of speakers, 1 subwoofer, 2 UMK3 arcade sticks, 25 audio splitters for headphones, surge protectors, 10+ HDMI cables, countless power cords by Summoning/UltraSpec Cables.

2 Asus monitors, 1 PS3, 1 MK9, and bracket laptop by STORMS

Auxiliary recording station, PS3 and MK9 by Pherleece.

1 Asus monitor, 1 PS3, 1 MK9 and 1 UMK3 arcade stick by AC1984.

1 BenQ monitor, 1 PS3 and 1 MK9 by Claude VonStroke.

1 Asus monitor, 1 PS3, and 1 MK9 by DanCock.

1 Asus monitor, 1 PS3, and 1 MK9 by Swift Tom Hanks.

1 PS3, and 1 MK9 by DarkRob.

I estimated this to be around $10K worth of equipment, and when DreemerNJ got there he said to me "Wow there must be $10 grand in stuff here."

Not to mention the majority of power cables, HDMI and surge protectors used in the main room for all the other tournaments at NEC, all provided by UltraSpec. If I missed anything, well that just adds to the list.
