you should pick him back up man, liu is easy mode as hell. b312b312b312b312b312b312b312b312 till death, flawless victory. it's unpunishable, sometimes unblockable hitbox is unduckable, unjumpable, and unteleportable, moves him forward half screen, recovery is instant so cant be whiff punished and loops together for 37% effortless combo.

Companies like NRS and Namco deserve just as much respect as Capcom, whether the players feel that way or not.

All I ask is for a greater effort to be made. We all want the MK scene to flourish, and we're on the path towards making it happen, we just need to keep it up.

Dallas has never showed mk love, KH traveled to a tourney once for a 8 man tournament. 4 of which from Houston, shit we ain't going back to dallas unless it's mlg again

On the other hand Houston has the insomnia tournaments with have 25+ entrants every time but no one from Dallas but shsng and midnight have come

blake is saying that the reason it is capcom oriented is because we give the impression of such orientation. it's cyclical in that way and the only way to break the cycle is to make an administrative move to market (via stream, imagery of the banner/flier, etc) this game. It is undeniable that Mortal Kombat is an exciting game to watch and play, and there is no logical reason for it to never have stream time at locals. Absolute battle isnt the only tournament that this is the case. it's also true of d-town beatdown which, as far as i know, is run by the same people. so get out of here with this "i wish i could change stuff but capcom..." bull because noone ever said that they have to be excluded. it's just a question of are people willing to take this game seriously or are they going to brush it aside. To me the "nothing can be done" attitude is more offensive than the fact that we dont get stream time.

i didnt complain about no stream time, i complain about the "oh well what can we do" attitude. There's a lot we can do, including lobby to these gorrilas or someone else get streaming tech or something.
