Anyway, if I had my way Baraka would be low B tier, but if we're gonna put him in C then he's far and away at the top of that one.

im not 100% on top of C, very well could be but im not 100% set in stone with it,
i feel sindel could maybe be better than baraka.

Smoke is most definitely within the top 5 characters. Best anti-air, almost any hit will lead to a potential 100% reset, great ground game, projectiles are pretty much not an option against him, probably some of the best runaway on top of that. What's not to love?

espio please do not become denfensive. im pretty sure you know what i am and am not aware of to do with baraka. not need to be smart about it.

no the strings that are not used are pretty interruptible, 3*b3, no one should be using this outside whiffing the 3 in footsies imo, 12*b3 the same, b32*3, no one does this. and if u wana made a read on trying to interupt b31 only to eat a b32-chop combo is very unsmartread to make as b31 should be used as punish only as it -11.
also about being left at neg frames, most of the time baraka is left at 0 or + frames apart from f44 at -2 and a blocked safe blade charge.
does ex rolls armor working stop it from being a sluggish move?

There's nothing I'm being defensive about, Stryker is low tier, I don't care anything about that. You're the one making a big deal about him having gaps in his strings like nobody else has them (there are characters better than Stryker and Baraka that have the same number or more gaps than them in their strings).


It's not sluggish though(roll toss), it executes at about the same speed as a projectile.

Yes Baraka has safe options as does Stryker. Back 1,2,2 is -2 with pushback 1,2 is neutral with pushback, 1, 1 is neutral for Stryker. Stryker has + on block options too, we can list all their great tools and strengths all day, but the bottom line is: Baraka and Stryker are slow characters that both get blown up by many top tier characters like Kabal.

Baraka may or may not be better than Stryker.....I'm not worried about it really...I'm not going to drop him if he's below or above Baraka and I imagine the same is true for you.

also b1 , 11, 12 all hit high and its not like with smoke that people have to take them in fear of a fast overhead, those strings are pretty poor outside a jip and even then still lacking.

(superman,blade charge,shadow kick,jades flash kick,elbow dash,dash punch,nomad dash,shoulder charge,mileenas roll,kano ball,sub slide)

i feel bad for anyone for would play or drop a char because of list someone made but there still the fact some chars and better than others like with all FGs so its not un-healthy to discuss why, bit time wasting sure lol but not invalid time spent

that is a valid point my friend and roll also hits special mid while some can be neutral ducked and i get your point on speed vs safety but my point is also still valid on the poor startup compared to others so its all swings and round-a-bouts i guess lol

Jade just lacks the tools to do so. She has many things, but the amount of work you're putting in to do the things she does you could have picked another character, and doing it safer for bigger damage and better set-ups. I think sh isn't the worst, but then again sheeva can punish for 50% if you duck low.

I've been saying it for almost 8-10 months now. Freddy is 4th place. My S+ tier placement would look like this. Kenshi is consistently better than Freddy but freddy vs kenshi played at the highest level = freddy wins.
