Your Sonya is coming along nicely; I can really see a difference from last week. The Kenshi mirrors were also fun, it was a full screen slap-fest.

ps: you guys should watch T.roll fight vs me next time though, I feel he has the best approach to fight NW. And the fact he does it with sheeva says a lot.

Lao mirrors can be fun but, fuck his alternate costume is way too similar! Even his alternate colour isn't that different :(

I was going to main KL after MLG. But after playing him more i realize how much fun I dont have playing him.

Same here,

Back when Mortal Kombat was just released, Charlie and I were going to create the "Big Hat Team" for online tag matches; I opted for Kung Lao and Charlie went with Raiden. I played / practiced with Lao for a couple days and realized that I was never going to progress with him because I hated the character with a passion. I still do to this day.

Kenshi is actually a really good choice since you have a solid background with Ermac. You're familiarity with spacing will come in handy and the transition from one character to another should feel quite natural. Having all that Armor at your disposal is not too bad either. :D

I'm not used to having armor, so in situations where I should use it, i am not lol.
That, and since ermacs xray is the only armor he has, I'm very careful with my meter.
I guess i'll just need to actually sit down and play him seriously.

This could actually help you in a way,

Since you're not used to playing with armor, you will probably have good meter management and save it for ideal moments instead of wasting it on 3 / 4 screen EN Spirit Charges when it's not really needed.

When I first picked up Kenshi, I felt the same way. I am very cautious when playing Ermac; I rely on good meter management and my goal is to sit on X-RAY the entire last round and use it for Armor (X-RAY) or Breakers. Some people like taking risks when they get 2 bars because they can but I never got into that habit and always played consistent / according to the match-up regardless of my meter.

If you can do this with Kenshi and capitalize on regular spirit charges, down-slashes and tele-flurries and conserve your meter for armoring out of pressure / knocking back an opponent who gets too close, he should be a brick wall.

upto play at the highest level, you need armor nigga

edit : id give up a lung for ermac to have armor.
even on his b2, like in sf4 with focus cancel lol

even fucking freddy has armor >_>
