There are so many hot characters they could put in this game...I would love to see a black lantern be a part of the game, but I highly doubt we will see anything like that, as it would be hard to do a story mode explaining stuff like that. However, I really do hope we see Sinestro. I think it would be awesome to see a female GL also, like Katma Tui of Fatality. Paralax would be a great character also.

the point is i'm a big Flash fan and i would love to see a Professor Zoom DLC skin
for the Flash. C'mon how cool would it be to see the Red with Yellow clash and all

Well, we get Hal Jordan in EVERYTHING! Same with Joker even though I don't think he is the most dynamic Batman villain. Wouldn't you rather see Black Mask, Bane or Azrael, Hell is Ras Al Ghul as the primary antagonist or foil in other forms of media other than comics?

This really. Its his canon that he is literally just meant to appear as an inverse color scheme to whatever The Flash is wearing. Considering they already got the UV's unwrapped on a finished model already why not just invert the normal map in Photoshop and save out the skin? Literally about 2 seconds worth of work. Little longer if for some reason it couldn't be inverted which I only see as possible if layers or something were messing up the colors on painted shadows trying to turn said shadow layers into highlights or something after an invert.

In any case it'd literally just be a texture job and it should be a gimmie to have as a simple alt option.

To be honest, I'd rather just stop with all the Bat-related people. I don't like Joker at all and think he's a pretty mediocre villain. Black Mask is a mobster, he doesn't go out of his way to beat people up, he hires people to do that for him. Bane would sorta fit with the style of the game but he'd be a grappler with most likely a very similar style to Grundy and at that point it's just unnecessary. Azrael is Batman in all but name and outfit. Ra's wouldn't work to well with this setting.

Also, to the comment about Hal getting everything. The thing you have to realize is that Green Lantern is hardly in anything outside of comics. He was in Justice League/Unlimited and in 1 episode of Superman:TAS. Even then, both of those weren't Hal. Only recently has Hal gotten his time to shine.

They should just have a Lantern pack of alt costumes, similar to how that kinda shitty blackest night event went down.

Lex orange, NW pink, Superman red, Batman yellow, Flash blue?. Black, white, and indigo suck.

The costumes would make there special moves and weapons into constructs, like batman would throw yellow energy batarangs, and Lex orange missiles or w/e he does in this game.

Maybe even give each character a new special move, but Tekken style, where there basically useless, long start up terrible recovery.
Pink, a stun type move where you freeze people in pink crystals.
Red rage puke.
Orange creates a construct of Mercy who appears and then fires a laser from her arm.
Blue a defense buff.
Yellow Giant bat projectiles.

I would want Sinestro as a yellow (Fear) lantern. He should feel like an evil Green Lantern with much more gruesome constructs/weapons (i'm thinking of stuff like what Battletoads would use for combo finishers).

He should also have an air-dash.

I read the whole thread and this arguing is really senseless. Star Sapphire would make more sense in the game over Atrocitus or Sinestro because the conflict is between Earth heroes and villains. Star Sapphire is the only one of these three villains that have originated on Earth and she's also closest to Hal. I'd like Sinestro or Atrocitus but it speaks for itself.

I think there will be a little more than 3 to 4 females, maybe 5 or 6. I gotta say though that I would love to see Zatanna, Starfire, Huntress, or Raven. Jenny from Stormwatch could be ridiculous too, she would probably be OP though. Mera would also be totally awesome.

If for no other reason than how simple it'd be to implement and how cool red lightning looks I am for this. Also on a tangentially related note who else would freakin' love for Flashpoint alts for cast? Considering this game's "challenge tower" seems to hint that your alts let you play missions in that alternate costume's universe of origin I feel Flashpoint should be a lock. Super ruthless Batman with red in his costume, full armor Wonder Woman, Emaciated government speciment S-1 Superman, heck even guys who aren't announced got cool stuff like Aquaman and Shazam in that story.

Blackest Night/Brightest Day, and Flashpoint are my two biggest hopefuls to make it in followed by SUPER 90's edition outfits. Dem mullets.
