I don't know how many of you are watching this, but this is one of the best debates I've ever seen.

It's like Hogan VS Andre. Biden keeps coming at him, Ryan's wall of rhetoric doesn't give.

This is amazing.

WHATCHA GONNA DO? WHEN ROMMNEY MANIA RUNS WILD OVER YOU!

I just watched this today...Biden clearly laid down the law, which was great. For me it's not about democrat or republican in this race - the party system is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is, the republican party is running on a platform that appeals to deep seated, mostly religiously-influenced feelings instead of running on facts. The facts, and math, don't support what they're proposing. So I won't vote for them. It was so great to watch Biden AND the moderator trying to get specific details from Ryan and not once did he answer the question.

Honestly I dont know how there's even a contest here. I guess it's tradition saying there has to be a contender...but this isn't much of a fight.

Oh and by the way - like Biden said - if you believe that life begins at conception, fine. You can't force that belief on others. This belief comes directly from a religious point of view. Our basic freedoms don't read "...unless you disagree with the writer of this law.". I don't understand how this is such a big issue. Logically it makes no sense to outlaw abortions or to ever not provide contraception. The planet has finite resources. There are over 7 billion of us, consuming these resources. Basic common sense says we need to control/moderate our population. This means having 8 kids is idiotic. At the very least, there should be no financial incentive to have more than 1-2 kids.

"And, by the way, they talk about this Great Recession if it fell out of the sky, like, "Oh, my goodness, where did it come from?" It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, to at the same time put a prescription drug benefit on the credit card, a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy. I was there. I voted against them. I said no, we can't afford that. And now, all of the sudden, these guys are so seized with the concern for the debt they created." - Joe Biden, October 11,2012
It's a shame that this it getting buried under "Joe Biden smirked a bunch."
