For me it would be like these people I run into in ranked (which is what I mostly play unless with friends) so there's no factor like "well maybe they always just played good players" because there's alot of shitty people in ranked. But these ones that are like 50 wins and 300 losses. What am I going to gain from playing that match other than watch the person get pummelled.

There are people in ranked with over a thousand wins and only a couple hundred losses that did the typical flow chart tactics when I played them.

They literally played like they just got the game and hoped lag would help them...they also usually rage quit mid fight.

Records don't mean too much, a record like 50 wins and 300 losses is realitic if you're playing better players or ones of similar skill and at least this person is not stat padding.

The flipside to this exists in both ways so that's another reason not to put too much emphasis on records.

True, sometimes the people I have that seem to have even-ish records seem to be some of the best ones. Some people with big win records as you said are so flow chart predictable its boring. I adapt a little and they are toast. Just takes me a few matches to adapt. I may get bodied the first match. Learn a bit, do ok the second match, and by the third match I may demolish them. For the flowchart players that is. Adapting and reading your opponent is so important in this game I find it more important than any amount of time in the practice room with fancy combos can do for you. But that's just me.

Idk espio I think that is really bad. If you playing people who are better and you aren't learning something then obviously you are not trying to lean. If you are playing people who are equal, and you are only winning 6% of the time you just need to really evaluate your game. You can always learn something from every fight that should help you if you pay attention to what's going on. 6% is saying that you refuse to do so.
so you would probably decline vs me cuz I got 3k/near 5k -,-

but what I can do , i got most loses when i was noob at the game ... i cant erease it
Nah i know your name so I would accept, and expect a hell of a match. In fact the way i wood play you would be harder than me playing some random. Like I would try to destroy you. I would expect the same from you, and if you wanted to try anything or ask me anything I would help you. You're a part of my community so I would always accept you and try to help regardless of you W/L bro.

I only decline if someones record doesn't is horrible which they usually all are and if they wanna go running their mouth then I invite them and lock them in the Cage and send them back a not so respectful message. Oh I'm scared? Well yes I don't wanna play someone that might actually make me worse :p

Lol, no. I decline if I dislike their name. If they're spamming the chat or have a crap connection.

I'm serious - If someone has like 666, 420, 69 or something obscene in their name I decline. I can just tell they're going to annoy me.
22? xD

The only thing I find irritating is when people don't respond to a challenge. They just leave it there like they do not see it, and the reason is that some are just too proud to decline, but are cowards underneath. If you do not want to play, hit decline idiots. I understand that sometimes people are messaging or something, but to those who just sit and wait for someone to cancel the challenge, I recommend you sell your game or stop being a proud douche.

I think online players rage at getting that No after their opponent wins far worse than initial declines (especially after the first game because OMG REMATCH COWARD RUNNER COMBO SPAMMER)

I need to learn to decline some randoms, I have a bad habit of accepting almost everyone, even if they're talking shit. The people I mainly decline though is someone with a good record, but also has like over 400 or so disconnects, because they either a) lag so hard and win off extreme lag tactics, or b) rq and talk mad shit when they lose.

Let me clarify, lol. I don't decline certain numbers because I'm religious or anti-drug or even anti-sex. Just, IMHO, it's mostly silly children trying to look "hard" or cool or whatever using semi provocative digits in their name lol.

@op No, it's not a bad thing. I hate being declined by the only decent statted person in the room and then they'll proceed to beat somebody with 500 games and 75 wins to their face. But no, feel free to decline. Angry kids will be angry.

LOL @ declining people with losing records. I have a losing record and it means jackshit cuz i only play badasses. You decline me cuz of my record you're only cheating yourself out one fuck of a good series, AND someone who will play until your fingers fall off.

If you beat me 20-0....it just makes me want to play you more

I personally never decline, but I think it'd be foolish to do so based on a win loss ratio. I only challenge people with 2000 or more total games, but I'll accept a challenge from anyone unless I know theyre jackasses.

I only decline people with good records. obviously good records mean they're gods of the game and dont have time for me. It wouldnt even be fair because my record is like 70/68, so i'd definitely get double flawlessed and babied by 420sheevalagtics69(666) who has a 20000/10 record with only 1 dc. zomg so good.
You people that say you want a good game are liars, obviously only record matters, but it doesnt if you're cheap. dont be a cheap spammer. especially combo spammers, omg so cheap. cheap is like -5 wins so if you're cheap 10 times your record is -50/0 and you really suck. getta lyf n00bz.
