I'm so down for this, and i will definately get some other tekken songs only to put up on stages songs i hate, it would make more stages playable.

I wish MK10 would give this feature as well with a the oportunity to change between ongoing music, finishim loop music and death music.

If you're going to put your metal ass song into this its just you, i'm flooding my tekken tunes ost with tekken music

Most of the tracks are actually a pretty good match with their stage, though I still feel a couple of them could have been better. I'm definitely getting some of the DLC Tekken soundtrack when they launch to further customize the game's music.

Yun ( Dusk after the Rain)
Un Doix Trois (Strategic space)

But i heard the original songs on the game are looping too early

You'd be amazed at how much more "focused" you are with your own set of music ya know.

When are the retro Tekken tunes going to be officially released? I tried using BildSlash's method from my old Tekken OST CDs but the looping sucks :/

Sorry to be a noob, but how did you do this? I LOVE the Tekken 2 themes, even some of the Tekken 3 themes were okay.

To use your own tracks is pretty simple:

1. Put all the songs you plan on using in a USB Drive in the following path "PS3\Music\". For better compatibility make sure all of them are in MP3 format.
2. Insert the drive to your PS3.
3. Browse the Music menu. The name / description of the drive should be listed there. Using PS3's menu (press triangle) select "List All".
4. Your folders should be visible by now. Copy the music files you want to use to your PS3's hard drive.
5. In Tekkens Tunes mode switch libraries with L1 and R1 buttons when changing the music on a stage. Select the one called "Original Music Library".
6. Pick the music file you want to use.

So it turns out you have to buy the classic Tekken tunes from the PSN Store or XBL Marketplace (for now it's just T1, 2, 3 and TTT1) and they're definitely worth it imho. Seamless looping and the TTT1 pack even has the original themes from the arcade version

I'm assuming T4, 5, DR and 6 will be released the same week as the next character patch.

What I can change the stage music to past tekken games??? Omg cause I hate the tekken tag music except for France and that hell stage or whatever it's called.
I want to add my fav stage music from tekken 6 br I forget the name I think it started with A like Az something idk

It's all very nice, only slightly miffed that they havent got the cool versions of Heihachi and Yoshimitsu's theme. Still, they have the cool version of Michelle and Pauls stages, which ive added to the south america and america stages, respectively. Jack 6 Tekken 2 theme goes quite well with the Norway stage in TT2.

It's not that expensive, only about 160 - 200 XBL points for a whole games worth of themes.

Yeah I noticed too the lack of the remixed versions of Hei's and Yoshi's themes.

They are included in the T5 pack. Though I'm not a fan of T5DR's soundtrack. The only track missing from that pack is Ground Zero Funk... the one I was looking forward the most. -_-
