Tonight @ 10PM EST MLG Online Tournament Redo w/ Madzin & Many More!

I tried going back to look for any mistakes I might have made against Madzin, only to remember why I gave up and selected Kabal to end my misery.

1. The start of the match. I throw out my 9 frame Ex-Ragdoll, he dashes up and uses his 12 frame D4. I lose.

2. I use 212 in the corner, then OTG with D4. D4 leaves me at +16, I throw out my 14 frame command grab. He jumps out.

3. He then goes on to combo me, until he knocks me down. I go for Ex-Ragdoll, but unfortunately, my wake-up is not responding do to delay. In this situation, I usually press the inputs twice, and it works on laggy connections such as a west coast to east coast connection. Germany connection? The input comes out once I'm standing up. It gives the portal set-up enough time to knock me out of Ex-Ragdoll. He then takes the first round.

4. The second round starts again. I dash up command grab, but 212 doesn't register. He uppercuts me...

5. I use Ex-Ragdoll, it hits him. Then I D1, and my 121 doesn't register, so I cant corner him with a net. I blame myself for this one a bit more. I'm used to doing this offline like cake.

6. After I finally manage to get him back in the corner, I dash up to hit 33xnet, but 33 doesn't register... he falls to the ground and I have no choice but to try my best and get advantage with 334. He doesn't block for some reason and gets hit. At least I got that damage.

7. When I manage to get a jump punch with him facing the corner, my 12 doesn't come out, so I jump over him again and net him. Scary situation, I honestly don't know how I won the second round...

8. Third round... if you are telling yourself that he is actually pressuring me with portal set-ups. You are wrong. I was trying to Ex-Ragdoll every time, but my wake-ups just werent coming out... Think about it. If you knock Cyrax down, and then go for a 78 frame black hole, why wouldn't I just wake up ragdoll? lol Answer? Delay... Wake ups wont come out.

Tyler, I beg you to please beat Madzin! Otherwise, I think he is going to win this shit again... lol

Also, if you guys want to have fun watching my match again. Please do so as you read the above... I'm not mad, I just find it funny. I'll be at MLG even if I lose this tournament. And I want a FT5 against Madzin. A real runback.

And last thing. Does anyone from EU play on PSN that can get me used to the delay? I'd really appreciate it!

ps. d4 to command grab is the scrubbiest thing you can do online

I'm gonna be watching just to see Madzin put all you self-righteous fucks back in your place. Complaining about lag when realizing you're joining an online tournament and trying to take away from the guy who won it is definitely going to make me enjoy this.

Best thing about the last tournament was laughing about it with Madzin at what a bunch of emo and poor sports this community consists of. Rooting for my new German friend all the way.

The only thing I don't like about this post is when you group the entire community into one lump because a few people cried and moaned and threatened to drop the game....over an online tournament. Other than that, I can agree with you. But I see the next bandwagon is going to be everyone saying the ENTIRE community is trash based on the posts/words of the few.

Madzin is in my pool. I can't wait to get blown up by him. Actually being serious about it too. The Noob match up is fun online to me if its beyond laggy. I'm so limited to what I can do so its cool to get out of my comfort zone and try go around it.

If I seem frustrated, that is me knowing its my own fault for not adjusting to the lagg. I give him props for overcoming lagg. It actually motivated me to keep trying to play better in lagg.

That's right, talk shit to the community. We all obviously are whiny babies in the face of lag. It's not like any offline players act like a self-righteous fucks, and then proceed to call others the same. Good shit Madzin. well earned. not everyone cares about this stupid shit.

Big thanks to the extremely generous donors who have really raised the stakes of the tournament, you all have a real love for the community to do something so kind, showing that the good trumps the bad out there.

Also big thanks to CPT, Blake, and Pig for organizing the redo, I know there were a lot of frustrations and organizing these events is very time consuming, but thank you for all you guys have done.

Every tournament (online and offline) that I've ever been to has been this way. You just have to hope to get the luck of the draw, or stay in winners to be streamed.

I wish they would stream every match b/c it looks like there are a lot of really good ones. But it would take so much longer to complete the tournament that way.

I don't care if I'm on steam, I'm recording my own anyway.

This was a point of confusion last time bc some thought it was play and report others thought all were streamed.

Where in my post did I specifically say every single person in the MK community is like that? I said the community consists of these players which couldn't be farther from the truth. Madzin originally didn't even want to play in the redo because of all the negative comments he read. You people think I'm making this shit up?

Slego Let me get this straight... You say I talk shit to the entire community, and then bring up off-line players to include them? But I thought I was talking shit about everyone in the community, like you said?
