Zombie related Media (Movies, Games, TV Shows, Books)

I am pretty late on The Walking Dead bandwagon, but I've recently burned through the show in a span of 3 days, and ever since I been wanting more Zombie action.

I really got into The Walking Dead, it's atmosphere, story, characters and the graphic interpretation of its take on a Zombie apocalypse. So, I've been trying to figure out what else offers that kind of entertainment, and I can't think of much options I haven't already know about.

In fact, I like any movie that deals with crazy apocolyptic shit, The Road, Book of Eli, etc.

Last Zombie film I recall watching was The Diary of the Dead, and I've been meaning to watch this but I heard it's pretty huff.

Out of everything I've seen, I like and enjoyed The Walking Dead's universe the best. Shane is my fav character, Lol, next to Daryl. Rick's a White Knight pussy.

Best zombie-themed video game(s) IMO: old-school RE games, Dead Island , Day-Z , (I forget the name of 1 CS mod I think it might be Killing Floor but I'm not sure) and Left 4 Dead

Played Dead Space 1, beat it thrice, first with Plasma cutter than again for all the Nodes ^_^. Didn't get the second, due to me just gaming a lot less. My friend and I completed RE5 in a one night on launch. I didn't play previous RE's as I didn't own a PS2 back in the day.

I didn't play a lot of the Zombie games due to them being $60 and me just losing interest in Gaming, much, even now.

Next game I'm looking forward to is Dishonored.

RE 6 not looking too good aside from Leon's campaign.

That new Ninja Gaiden Z looks interesting, yeah, DS isn't really Zombie.

I like Chris' campaign, and I'm withholding judgement yet on Jake's. Chris' campaign is cool because it seems to be where you fight the really big stuff, see how the government is handling the invasion, brothers in arms type deal, and I like the intelligent BOWs and all out war.

But I want a survival horror game.Something that barely exists anymore in this Generation P of gaming.Hell, Dark Souls is more of a survival horror than any of the so-called "survival horror" games nowadays.

Enenra Dishonored gives me the vibe that I haven't gotten before with a game since Bioshock 1, and Bioshock 1 is my favorite game of all time so far, so beautiful, story wise, characters, gameplay, it's universe, Dishonored seems to be going in that unique direction.

Well the reason people want tank controls is because that's how it has always been and should stay that way.I understand improvement but changing a game completely is a different story.Might as well call it a different game because all it's doing is making the RE franchise a shadow of its former self and slowly degrading even more.

This is kind of off topic but w/e, so I was going out last night late like around 11, and it was pitch dark, and I just GOT watching The Walking Dead, and I thought to myself, WTF would I (my friends) do if my city/world was infected with Zombies, where would we hold off, what would I do if I was sent to go get supplies at a abandoned store or scavenge?

My idea was to get a Yacht and go in the middle of the Water, use lifeboats supplied on Yacht to row across to get supplies and shit and come back that way, Lol. Have a Jetski, for quick rescues if someone get's fucked over rowing back while others stay in the Yacht and pick off incoming Zombiez!

Killing Floor was it's own stand alone game, it was a rather small game though but still it's worth the buy if you like zombie games.

Awesome! Been eyeballing that movie but it's been getting like mixed reviews or either AMAZING or completely shit. I love Apocalypse movies too, list some alongside any good Zombie flicks you know, hopefully you've seen The Road, amazing!
