But just to be gracious to a guest of my thread, my argument WAS (and that's the important part) that everyone had a chance to beat REO, they just lost. Sure, it's against the rules for him to be in the tournament, but he still played the same MK game everyone else was playing. But anyway, we're pretty far past that already. before Reno_Racks and Son of Timett made an extremely generous offer to pay out of pocket for a new tournament (not a redo, but i can see why more people have been voting yes on here) the vote was 75% no for a redo.

I was just trying to see what THOSE AFFECTED by this incident wanted instead of just doing something because people are salty about reo ruining their work (pig/cpt). revolver you gotta understand that all the salt is retrospective because while the tourny was going everyone had a good time. just suddently when people find out 2nd place was reo that changes things. but i dont think it should because 1) people had fun, 2) someone that actually paid entry won. but that's just MY OPIONION (though it seems to be shared with a large portion of the community. if you think most of the community is dumb then leave)

What's the point and not allowed are two different things. Madzin entered thinking he was ALLOWED to play, even if him winning would be "pointless." i think he was under the same impression as me that the original rules said you could designate someone to go in your place if you couldnt make it (because even some american guys cant make it even if they win, believe it or not), so he just wanted to play the game.
