The Serato glitch is spreading

I ran into a new person or possibly just another stupid account of the moron yesterday. Planch Kavanche, same exact set-up, hidden cursor, middle area somewhere, goes to the outworld stage, you see the stage for a second and it's gone. No game session has been lost, no desync, no message at all. I thought maybe it was a bad connection.

But then I ran into the same person 3 times, I called them on it after the third time then I get this message of the person saying they have no idea what I'm talking about and it's just my poor internet connection. I somehow doubt the only 3 players in the world on xbox live who just happen to hidden cursor the same exact way have "poor connections" against anyone decent and no disconnection message pops up. I just don't buy it.

I hate Serato... I will win 17 ranked matches in a row and then bam, same thing, glitched player select screen...

Maybe he just made a new account? I played ranked for a good bit last week and didn't run into serato once.

That would be my best guess, he actually had proper spelling though which didn't seem like him because Serato usually replied like a mentally challenged chimpanzee.

Let's let this be the last topic about this... the only thing someone stands to gain from doing what they're doing is attention, so you can see why a thread a week is probably counter-productive.

The glitch can be used on any stage and you don't take a loss for it, so it's not as bad as it might seem. I believe it can also be canceled as well. I went AFK vs. Serato to make a cigarette and sure enough the scumbag canceled his glitch to try and snake a free win. So, if you ever find out how it's done then you should be able to counter it.

Short of that, just make them wait the full minute and do everyone else the favor of keeping them locked into a game for 60 seconds.

Well it's not like Serato invented the glitch, he's just known as the person who uses it because it's how got so many wins and it does give you a loss I'm pretty sure (not that I care really but still). I was just making the point that there may be more than one person using this glitch and has knowledge of it.

Did you look at your record and confirm +1 loss after he glitched you? According to a few other people who have checked after a match, it doesn't add a loss.

Why does it matter anyway? XBL records are utterly useless at determining anything other than how much/long someone has played for. I've added 30 wins to my record in a day just from pounding on scrubby Scorpions who use spear like a poke and think jump-in/tele at the start of a round is a sick mindgame. Technically, everyone's record is artificially inflated.

Whose D do you need to S to get some ranked match making around here? :(

Yes, I did. It made me mad because the first time I ran into him and he did it to me, I was beating my winstreak record in ranked. And he killed it.

We need a system Serato matchup chart and a community restricted Serato matchup chart because this community insists that what he is doing is 'wrong'.

I also ran into a guy using the same glitch. Picked sheeva and did hidden select on other and 'poof' im back at the menu

Bruh that's crazy... I thought that that was only happening to me. Didn't know it was a glitch. Just thought it was bad connection from the other player
