i agree, level up thread should be merged with this thread and battle and brew thread needs to be in the tourney forum.

I agree that stuff is out of control.

At the very least please make sure that you are posting in the proper thread. No more asking about Level Up in the BnB thread and vice versa

Also, for anyone that's interested on helping, I wrote an essay for school and posted it in off topic discussion. If anyone wants to read it over and give it a look, it'd be much appreciated.

But seriously, I dunno if/where MK specific stuff goes down, but ALOT of information is normally passed through the GA Fighting Game Community group. That's where news for most of the tournaments (such as Tension Pulse next month, and January's ATL Revival, which will be teams again) and just general BSing goes on.

Beyond that, -shrug- it's just (social) networking I guess. :x

Aight, ... maaan work was crazy. I think a class of elementary kids might not have recess for the entire month of november. x:

But ok, this tournament. APEX 2012 I need everybody's help for this!

For those who don't know (or haven't heard much of it, yet), it is an event that used to be a Smash tourney, but is evolving to more games this year. Specifically, MK9, AE, and UMvC3 (and pokemon). The way things are looking now, it's shaping up to be a "major" for January. Yeah, I understand that NEC is in December, and this probably flew under many radars because MK9 was officially announced for the lineup 'bout 2 weeks ago, but I'd like for some people to, if nothing else, at least look into the possibility of it.

Unless some crisis comes up, I myself will be there. I'll be there doing commentary for SSBM just as I was in 2010. (I think I might do some light-end of MK9, but I don't think I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be one of the main commentators for that) I say this so you all know this is not some randoms coming out of nowhere and me trying to just throw people to the wolves. This tourney is shaping up to be HUGE!

So again, if you're interested in a major for January, or even if you're just interested at all, please check it out!

yep, thursday november 10th. if you're ever curious as to what tournaments are going to be at battle and brew and ?when?, there's a calendar on the front of their site.
