Good Tourny guys! I thought I would have done better than MAT VIII, since i've gained more experience with the game. Unfortunately i was paired up against Kr3wman's deadly Johnny Cage and lost. Damm Cage combo strings! I couldnt get in! LOL

I don't think ill be entering any more MK9 tournys for the time being. Im getting bored with the gameplay style of it. MK9 is the best game in the MK series and puts the series in a better direction that it very much needed. However, i still feel that all the other fighting games offer better smoother gameplay. I'll be learning Marvel 3 now. But im still open to MK9 casual matches at Foonzos's. I'm usually available Wednesday or Thursdays nights.

lol I was the scrubby Stryker. :p Well one of the Strykers... There was another guy using him but I don't think he was playing in the tournament.

Talk about a shitty display on my part. After losing to Jedah's Sub (AGAIN... man this guys is my kriptonite ha) I completely lost confidence. Then I fought Ermac -another bad matchup. I just got exposed for the scrubby player I am. :( I'm still salty thinking about it lol.

I wish more people went to Fonzoo during the week. When there's a tourney there's always 10 people or more for MK (which isn't that much but still cool). But when I drop by no one is playing MK so I can't really practice and up my game.

I also find it surprising that in a city as big as montreal, we only have a dozen players showing up for tourney. And most of them are not even from mtl lol they from outside the city. I find that hard to believe.

Hey guys I'm in montreal and I'd really love to up my game because you can only learn so much from the stupid bots on ladder and online is so bad for me that I can barely connect to a match let alone get through one without a disconnect. My skills are weak as this is the first fighting game I've really played but I'm thinking some offline casuals could do me some good. After all the only way to get better is to play people who are better than you. Anyways can you guys shed more light on when/where you have casuals? I've been keeping to myself for a while but I'd like to help keep the montreal scene alive!

Yo, guys drop me a message if you wanna casual play at foonzo. I live around the corner and have an easy schedule. So it's pretty easy for me to swing by any day of the week before 5, because after that I'm on lock down my girlfriend.

Great Tournament by the way, some good strong competitors in MTL.

Let me know if any of u want to practice.

Sweet finally got Rain. Pretty cool that pretty much all his special moves are combo starters.

I'll be at Fonnzo today from 1:30- until about 3-4 testing him.

Hi everyone, im not sure if this is the right spot to post this, so i apologize in advance:

I would like to let myself know as a Montreal Mortal Kombat 9 player. I have recently discovered this spot know as Foonzo (here is the link http://foonzo.com/), where lots of fighting games are available to play. I would like, whenever possible, to meet up with other Montreal Mortal Kombat players from TYM and test out my abilities and hopefully, become a better player.

I will be going there Saturday for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday, and I will see how the place works out exactly. If any Montreal players from TYM is going there Saturday in the evening, I will anxiously try out my Mileena, Shang Tsung and Reptile against them. If not, then hopefully we can organize some sort of matchup for the next time!
