And no, I am not kidding. The plan is set.

Special thanks to ScheissNussen for this great find and another special thanks to Tim, Phil, Rob, Simon, summ0ning and Shock for being so fucking organized and just with it for these tournaments. I plan to bring this beast to as many tournaments as possible...

And if this isn't good enough reason for you "other" players to get up off the couch and come to these tournaments... then well, you will never know what you're missing.

As I've told many players, what you see there is exactly what my very first UMK3 experience was in 1995 at the Freehold Mall in an arcade known as Time Out. I would love to experience that again in December. Great job at landing this machine Storms, and great job Scheisse for spotting it. We contemplated picking this up on the way back from SB5 but didn't have enough room for all of it. If there were only 4 of us, it would have happened.

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed reading the title...My first thought on reading it was that Miss Spin was going to NEC haha...this is almost as good.

I will build my own if that is what it will take for me to own a megacab umk3 machine...

You'd know what I mean if you've seen her myspace about 3 years ago lol


on another note. the cab is beautiful. There is an arcade here in tampa in a mall that has one of these. but its SvC chaos. and its broken.. but totally mod-able.. if that is a word..

Like I texted Shock... when having the camcorder on the cab it gets "flashy" on the bio screens big time, but in gameplay it's very little to none... so hopefully, come NECXI... we'll be good to go.

I have nothing but respect for Miss Spin. She is really good at this game and I think that she will do nothing but good for the tournament scene if she attended a big tournament like NEC.

I thought that Storms meant Miss Spin from reading his thread title because I asked her if she was going to be attending one of these tournaments and the response she gave hinted that is was a possibility. Nowhere in my thought process was an adolescent response like "OMG a gurl is coming to an UMK3 tournament!".

Nothing but respect for her, and I hope she does make it to one of these tournaments someday soon.

she's from Maryland so she aint too far actually from these tournies. I kno this post is kinda late, but when I saw this topic on TYM I also thought Spin was going lol...i got really hyped then wuz like...wait wtf, its not her : ( Not that the cab wasnt good tho...I mean, umk3 was the only game with one there lol

I deff agree with Konqrr...Miss Spin is one of the best players and if it hadent been for her and marvirrasta in the summer always playin with me on mame, I wouldnt even be slightly proficient at the game.

Its about time we have a chick in our top...5 or lol...id say top 3 spots in a major Umk3 tourney. Prepare to get spun !
