Standard this, standard that Nori. This ain't smash boards, with it's back room and yellow flags and behind closed doors nonsense.

I think running it on both consoles is fine, because there's more 360 players out there. And I'm going to be ordering a e tokki converter for S.O.S. soon anyways so he can start entering more (personally I think he does fine now on the new 360 pad, but I got no problem with buying a converter regardless).

Anyways, I got to agree with Spin, more people play on 360. For those who play on a PS3, having 1 or 2 PS3 setups and two TE PS3 sticks will satisfy anyone. Nothing wrong with this picture here. We've been over this PS3 argument before with Street Fighter, and look where that ended up.

Yeah I have to agree with Spin and Kyle. Theirs a lot more 360 players here and they prefer it that way. But in the end it is your tourny Nori.

It's not that it's "my" tourney, that's not what I'm trying to have come across. I don't get paid for this, this is entirely run by the community and I'm apart of that community. I will put an end to all this needless drama and add it for both systems. However, I want to be crystal clear on something: If 2 players disagree on a system, that match is being played on PS3. If the 360 user refuses to play on 360, he is forfeiting the match. Long as everybody is cool w/that, then fine. I'm doing this for the community, not for myself (unless I'm getting paid and I'm not aware of it)

Kyle: Nobody said this was smash boards, I have no idea what you are talking about. You don't just make up your own rules for tournaments, you should know this by now. And no, this isn't the same argument as SF, at all actually. SF does not have a "tourney standard". SF at evo is played on PS3, yet at nearly every other major, it's played on 360. MK9, the tourney standard is PS3, undisputed. Same as MvC3, tourney standard is not 360 nor is it PS3.

i know im gonna get crap from everyone but.....I really dont feel a difference with both systems.....anyways brandon what were saying about liu kangs block strings.......they all have frame advantage?

Mario. All of Lui Kangs strings are safe on block except 1~2<+2, which can be ducked and punished by full combo. but all his other strings have the advantage on hit.

I'm going to address the tournament rules one final time and that is it. After this, I will not entertain any more arguing when it is not justified. Most of SA (for MK9) wants to play on 360. That's fine. However, since PS3 IS the tournament standard, if a PS3 player wants to play on THAT system w/THEIR wireless pad, that is what is going to happen. If the PS3 pad player is ok w/switching to 360 and using a PS2 pad w/converter, that's great (and encouraged).

PS3 is the tourney standard so naturally, they will get choice on the matter. 360 players still have the option of doing ALL their matches w/other 360 players on that system and everybody should be happy. However, asking a PS3 player to play on another pad they are not familiar w/is not fair and is not something I will endorse or condone. Even if that means a certain somebody doesn't show up.

These are the rules and they are VERY accomidating to everybody. If these rules are not to your liking, you do not have to show up. This is the best scenario for the entire community. If somebody else wants to run an all 360 tournament in the future, nobody is stopping you. I look forward to seeing everybody again and hope everybody enjoys the tournament.

Well said, I play on PS3 pad.......hopefully this will squash all the concerns other players had.

Freddy and Kratos stage should be banned. also no blood code should be encouraged.

How's the 2v2 going to work? 4 player tag mode is pretty awesome, but if we get people playing on stick old xboxs don't have that many USB ports

I posted the rules on the tourney page and yes, Freddy/Kratos are both banned already. 2v2, I'm not going to lie, I have no idea how that's going to work. I'd prefer to run it on 360 but we'll see. There is no tourney standard for tag mode so I guess everybody will have to flip a coin lol. Only tourney standard is singles, tag is something we will all have to figure out together

For teams I think 4 player tag would be best. I'd like to have that format since it's in game and relies heavily on strategy since both players share the same meter. Combos and tag outs need to be planned ahead to make team synergy work

I like how you didn't answer my question about first round challenge and I'M the one doing the dodging. You can run your mouth like a little bitch, or accept my first round challenge. That's all I need to read "yes nori" or "no nori, I'm scared". Pick one of those, that's all you have to do. I'm not going back and forth w/you, everybody knows I'm better and I have nothing to prove. Your own friends who you play w/often think I'm better than you too, but hey, you are brandon you are known to say and do stupid shit, so think what you want

Letting it get out their that Game-Worx is having a lock in this Saturday night and I believe Mario and Josh expressed interest in going to have a MK party thing and I think a mini tourney so if anyone else feels like jamming this too then maybe we can have a good turnout to level up
