Kabal Pit Fatality Infinite

I was messing around on Mame tonight and I didn't realize this was possible, but you can keep doing the pit fatality on player 2 if you set up the spin in the corner and then keep spinning and doing the pit fatality. It's not really an infinite because you can only get 4 pit fatalities in before the timer runs out.

I was bored so I recorded it:

Do any of the other characters have a similar set up where they can keep doing a pit fatality?

I was messing around with it some more. I was hoping to do 3 pit fatalities then do a mercy and do 4 more pit fatalities for a total of 7, but the mercy doesn't work after you do a pit fatality. Neither do the regular fatalities. I guess pit fatalities are treated totally different than the rest of the finishers.

I got 3 in with Kitana doing JK, Air Fan, pit fatality, before they land in the corner. I figured stryker would have a similar set up with jk, lp, gun, pit fatality. But after the first pit fatality and you go in for the jk, the lp doesn't connect so you can't air juggle them for more pit fatalities. Cyrax has a complicated one. Throw a bomb, time the net so it hits them in mid air right after the bomb explodes. Wait til they drop from the net then pit fatality them. I think you can keep repeating this.

It's not really an "infinite" because after a certain amount of time the "Player wins" screen comes up. These pit glitches have been showcased in some of the combo vids though.

I saw a video once of nothing but a compilation of finishing glitches. I don't remember if I saw that one in there or not. Going by your definition of infinite, there really is no such thing as an infinite. A kombo can't go on infinitely because eventually their health bar is going to run out. There is always a constraint, in this case it's the timer. If you ignored it, then the process could go on forever which was why I referred to it as an "infinite" process although technically speaking it isn't. I think I mentioned that in my original post.

This is like, older than Jesus Riding a Dinosaur. I do this on XBL whenever given the chance.

Nice job getting it on video though, never seen it on video before.

There are what ded_ defines as true infinites and semi-infinites. A true infinite can be done infinitely if you have time and health cheats on. A semi-infinite would end because of a wall for example.
True: Lao corner spin inf
Semi: Stryker cross screen inf

Did you not read his first post?
Nah, but I read the title

Stryker's cross screen is now a True because it's possible to get out from the wall and turn around and come back the other way, and then do it again. Only problem is, the person always dies before making it both ways, but with infinite health and time it's a true infinite.
