i tried a program virtual dj, was a pile of shit, my laptop doesnt allow it to put one deck/track coming from my speakers and another to my headphones so i cant realistically drop beats into each other without sitting for half hour and finetuning all the cue points on every track. did my head in.

Yea that shit, thats why none of this is serious its just something to listen to. Its alright if you know ur tunes well enough though, I know all these like the back of my hand, every lil noise :p

fair enough then yeah i did have a little go and if you know the tunes its easy, just takes loads more time than it would if you were just putting a track into place on headphones, then slide the mixer over when you want it to drop in...

been in too many clubs and shit with people DJing off their macbook with the mousepad, and sometimes even doing pre-recorded mixes and just pretending to know what they are doing. smh
