The second to last chapter of Mortal Kombat 9 has just finished up and we now have our Top 4 in which will finish up at 6:30 PM Central time via this link on the main stream/stream1. Below we have the match results for the Top 8 down to the Top 4 for those who may have missed out on the action!

I hope people finally stop saying scorpion is low tier. He isn't high tier but he's right near the bottom of mid.

Can't wait to see these fights.

Eh he's low tier. He's extremely extremely dependent upon good reads and can lose randomly if your opponent just lucks out in his guesses. I mean, unlike other game vortex characters, if your opponent guesses right against Scorpion, he not only blocks correctly, HE CAN PUNISH YOU.

He's basically the MK equivalent to SF4's El Fuerte. Great players can become amazing at mixing up their moves so that it's incredibly incredibly hard to guess, and thus can go far every now and then. But he's just too unsafe to consistently place. Thus low tier.

I was surprised that IKizzle didn't seem to know to block Scorpion's sweep-range b2 reset. It landed at least 3-4 times for fairly sizeable damage.

Honestly, Slips may or may not be proving Scorpion's worth, but he for sure has proved that he has the ability to make the most immaculate reads in tournament play in a very long time.

It seems he makes an incorrect move 2 out of 10 times and always has a breaker for that situation.

Amazing stuff; you're the most impressive player in top 8 imo.

That said, have a great time against Dizzy's Cage, Pig's Kenshi, and most importantly Kevo's Kabal.
