Welcome to the thread. I live in Tampa and we have a few people that play mk9 and 1 that wants to learn. Who are you maining or want to main as your character so far?

Time for VS Corps to hit up Test Your Might!! What up ya'll! I live in Kissimmee but I'm good friends with I$AAC and Deuce. In my area (Kissimmee, not Orlando) the only real good players are myself and my younger brother. Some of my VSC brethren are looking to get better in the game and we all seek to better ourselves with Orlando, Tampa and the rest of Florida. Looking forward to see our we grow as a community; LET'S HYPE UP MK BABY!!! Isaac, I promise to TRY to regulate my visits here, lol. I'll tell Josh to create an account also so we can both keep track of it, lol.

I only have MK for the sexbox. Who else from Florida has that? Seems like the majority is on PSN.

I'm actually getting the 360 version after CEO. That way we can do Tag battles and troll everyone on XBL =)

Well we can start at CEO. We have to defend our home from all of the invaders. There will be alot of heavy hitters at CEO so practice up.

Main = Ermac
Also use Quan chi, Shang Tsung, Scorpion.

Before I even picked the game up I was like "Ermac or Noob all the way baby! They look badass" But the more I played the more i realized they dont fit my style too well. They're great characters, just not for me. I'm more of a rush down, in your face type guy, so I picked Liu Kang up. I also sub Sub Zero. I had no idea there was a fighting scene here..I knew there was a Smash scene, but i could never find anything else....guess i wasnt looking hard enough hahah.

Haha thanks bro! You too! Very knowledgable with much of the cast, I like that. Definitely wanna get more matches against your NW and JC though, I know practically nothing about those 2. You gonna be at CEO?

On a side note, I am MEGA Hype for CEO, and can't wait to meet all you guys. I really do feel like Florida's scene in MK is gonna be one of the best in the country. Good luck to everyone attending next weekend. GET FUCKING HYPE!

Hey guys I'm sega and i'm new to the boards here. Seeing as how the online matchmaking isnt doing so well, I figured it would be a good idea to host a tournament so that us MK9 players representing south fl could get some good warm up matches in before CEO.

I know its short notice but I know there are some players out there that'll be wanting to practice like me to make sure they're ready for action at CEO so i might as well give it a shot.

Venue: the tournament will be at ZBK COMICS. its a decent sized comic shop with snacks there and a burger king and miami subs walking distance. There's also a taco bell and wendys down the street so i dont think food will be an issue.

Address: 7641 Pines BLVD pembroke pines fl 33024 (just east of university and across the street from perry airport)

time: Now I only have the venue til 8:30 so I would like the tournament to start around 5. I will have at least 2 setups running on the PS3 but I would like to have maybe a couple more so that the tourny runs a bit more smoothly and possibly have a friendly TV set up. feel free to show up early as I will probably have everything set up by 4 15 ish.

Entrance fee: 5 dollars cold hard cash. ( i know its alot)

The payout will be 60,20,10 unless you cats want something different. (10 has to go to the owner of the store)

Format: 2/3 rounds, 2/3 matches with grand finals being best of 5. Double elimination. (same as CEO)

Now all I ask of you guys is just to please be there on time and please no profanity.
