Apparently, someone called SwiftTomHanks has been telling people that UFGT uses CRT televisions instead of ASUS monitors. This is a lie, and I'd appreciate it if you'd just ask me if you don't know the answer to a question, instead of spreading incorrect information.

Is there a rundown anywhere on the rules for controllers? I only have wireless 360 controllers, which I assume will not be acceptable.

Could they be made tournament legal if the battery pack is removed and it is only used with a play and charge kit? That way the controller can only turn on when plugged in to a 360 system. I'm fairly certain that it will auto-sync to the 360 system that it is drawing power from, so accidental guide button presses by non-players should not be an issue.

That is actually a really good idea. Hopefully he does let us use wireless xbox controllers because the only Xbox controller worth using is the one with the rotating d-pad and that one is only made wireless.

It would only make sense that the battery-less wireless 360 pad be allowed. Practically child-proof. If anyone needs any spare play and charge cords during the tourney, I should have some extras with me. I've built up quite a collection of them during my numerous years of being a 360 owner. Fucking things replicate worse than Tribbles....

And yes, the spinning d-pad version really is the best. I cannot pull off Smoke's bnb's without it, lol

the ps3 version of the game is a port of the xbox version and is actually inferior. So yeah. It SHOULD be played on the xbox considering. Only reason it is not... money.

Yeah, I'm from Eastlake. I'll let you know whether we're going, but we may decide on the last minute because we've had bad experiences with the X-Box 360 at Console Combat. I also think it lags, but it may be TV related at CC.

I don't understand why this tournament is run on X-Box when 95% of all major ones use the PS3.
