The ignorance

The point of your post was to call people out for being ignorant about the game, and in that very post you used incorrect information about the input bug in relation to the crouch blocking glitch. That incorrect information was also tied to what you were saying about Cage's F3 pressure. I corrected you on those things, and your response was to quote my post and say "See, this is what I'm talking about", implying that I share this ignorance you're accusing everyone else of having. So yeah, you're calling people idiots.
So you're saying that during the standing up animation from the random advantage bug you can get the input bug by pressing any attack button while still holding down?

Yes. That what I repeatedly noticed happening to me. So I wrote to somberness about it and he confirmed that's what was happening. The random standup glitch causes an input bug if you're down poking while it happens. It's not the random frame advantage. It's something else.

I've tested this. I've seen my character stand up for like 1 or 2 frames and then my D1 would still come out.

If it's really about a specific frame of block recovery, that's so fucking lame. So it's not against certain strings. It's against EVERYTHING. It seems to happen to me all the time. Holding crouch block, going to poke, and getting a standing attack.

I didn't say the stand animation can lead to the input bug. This is so stupid, but I actually think the animation glitch prevents the input bug after moves that have it. If you input on the 7th frame of recovery of a move while crouch blocking and then holding down, you'll do a standing attack. Not after forward 3, I tested some others and it seems consistent. The regular input bug always happens on that frame, I don't know how webreg has it on frame 5, it could just be that I am working off output frames.

Thanks. I've been hearing frame 4. frame 5. frame 7. I wish this shit would just go away really. Agreed. This is stupid.

This looks like another type of bug to me. Webreg's input bug was happening on the 5th frame of start-up not recovery.

You're wrong about the F3 random advantage thing. Blocking low against some character's moves, F3 included, causes an input bug. Your character will randomly stand when you let go of block. This is not from trying to jump. You can be holding down for 5 seconds, against 10 F3's..then let go of block to poke and suddenly get a standing attack. That's a huge problem against someone like Cage who can continually pressure you with a neutral mid-hitting move that confirms into the nutpunch. And you can't stand block it because of his frame traps. So this "trying to jump and causing advantage" really isn't the whole pictures as to why F3 is so good.

It's because it's a mid-hitting, neutral on block, 9 frame, combo-nutpunch starter, that causes input bugs when you try to poke out from blocking low,...which you MUST block low because you'll be caught in EX forceball frame traps and low pokes all day.
Thank you mayo. I was arguing about this the other day. Even have a video of it. Cage's F3 DOES give random advantage on crouch block without jumping. People believe everything top players say without testing the shit for themselves. Gets fucking annoying.

Whether it be random advantage, a bug, or whatnot, sometimes a 6f downpoke gets stuffed by f3. It's stupid.
