I always felt less counter-pickable with Ermac than any of the characters I play. Sadly, I don't consider my Ermac tournament ready still.

I would probably add Ermac to the list and I pretty much agree. There's still harder match ups for some of these characters, but the game's current state of counterpicking will balance itself out imo. Currently I only switch for the Smoke match up, which I'm now giving all my attention to.

To be honest, I think you could put Mileena and Sub Zero on the last as well... possibly more.

cage does not rape ermac, neither does sonya. if the advantage is in their favours in those two match ups its not by much. i really do not mind playing cage, i play one all week and it does not annoy me to the extent it does a lot of people on these forums. if you learn the mu and be patient it is not that bad. its the same thing with sonya. i just learn the mu and deal with it. i never really feel helpless, that i have tools for all situations.

people forgot ermac has damage. i now have a 53% mid screen with 1 bar. now tell me how that wont help in these match ups.

kenshi is hard, and is ermacs worst match up, worse then cage and sonya. there are ways to beat him and this is a match up i play a lot now

Ermac should be on the list IMO. He doesn't have a lot of advantadges, and most of his MUs are even. His worst ones are 4-6s.

You can go solo with Sonya, and she is better than Ermac overall, but she does have some pretty fucked up MUs. She's very good, obvious top 10, and she crushes a lot of characters. But she needs a backup char more than characters like Ermac or Cyrax IMO.

I've always found it incredible that there was soooo much demand for Rain to be in this game, yet almost no one uses him. I would love to see this character's full potential in the current version of the game.
