Despite the fact that some friends of mine, myself included, are currently planning to head up to Michigan to see some more friends of ours for this particular weekend; I am still contemplating this. Do I want to be the douchebag in my circle of friends that DOESN'T end up going up with the rest of them to hang out for a weekend in Michigan?

Right now, I'm tip-toeing towards 'Yes'. But we'll see. I feel like my last two major appearances (Power Up and Season's Beatings) have not been up to my personal expectation, so right now I'm feeling like I still have more to prove. And UFGT 8 will probably be the last opportunity that I have for the next several months.

So is the MK 9 tournament schedule being stretched out over a 3-day period pretty much set in stone?

Apparently, someone called SwiftTomHanks has been telling people that UFGT uses CRT televisions instead of ASUS monitors. This is a lie, and I'd appreciate it if you'd just ask me if you don't know the answer to a question, instead of spreading incorrect information.

Is there a rundown anywhere on the rules for controllers? I only have wireless 360 controllers, which I assume will not be acceptable.

Could they be made tournament legal if the battery pack is removed and it is only used with a play and charge kit? That way the controller can only turn on when plugged in to a 360 system. I'm fairly certain that it will auto-sync to the 360 system that it is drawing power from, so accidental guide button presses by non-players should not be an issue.
